Mike inserted the key towards the slot, the dorr openibg with a ton of noise, causing him to dash towards the newly revealed stairs. This leads him to the attic, where a spider was seen, barely visible from the box it resided in. Oh dear, a cute little spider. He thought as he noticed an empty plate. He brought out the slab of meat that he had been bringing, placing it there. The spider ran out to eat the placed meat on the plate, giving small satisfied squeaks as it tore through the muscle of the long dead cow. "Aww, so cute," Mike spoke, petting the little critter. The spider looked up, as if it had registered the words he spoke. "Yeah, I know you can hear me." He let the spider crawl up around him, seeing the food has made him calm. Mike's heart dropped as he heard the distant footsteps of Granny, going louder by the second. He looked at the spider, gave a small pitiful laugh, and sighed. "I am such a pitiful creature aren't I? You were tasked to kill me as well if I ever went near you, but you didn't. Just delaying the inevitable." Tears fell down as he spoke, the spider catching a teardrop or two. "She is near... do what you must." He spoke to the spider, and with a long delay with constant urging, the spider bit its venomous fangs right at Mike's neck, causing him to grip the plate in pain. His vision began to weaken as he heard voices of his mother calling him. With the last of his strength, he lifted himself off the ground, and slowly walked to the stairs. "I hear mom calling... good bye... little one." He whispered as he took a step, completely losing consciousness. His body tumbled down the stars, a loud crack could be heard as his head hit the last step, then a slam as he hit the wall. He ended up as if he was only resting on the wall, but he is dead.
