I watched as people left the pizzeria one by one. It's getting late, it's already 10.23 PM. I sat on my seat, until a waitress approached me. "Uhm, miss, I'm sorry, but we're going to close in a few minutes." she said politely. I turned my head towards her direction slowly.

"Oh, about that... I'm going to be the night guard in here." I said. She froze for a moment, before nodding her head. "Ah, I see... Maybe you should go and meet the manager? I can guide you there if you want to, miss." she offered.

"Sure! Thank you." I smiled in appreciation. She smiled back, before she said, "follow me". I stood up, and obeyed her.

"Sir?" the waitress knocked on the wooden door several times. "Come in," a masculine and familiar voice responded. The door opened. It was not as fancy as I thought. The walls were painted in white, and the tiles were monochrome, just like the other parts of the pizzeria.

The light was quite dim. There's only desk with a bunch of paperworks on it, and two chairs in front of them. It looks empty and spacious. The waitress stepped inside, gesturing for me to come with her before she fully entered the room.

I do as she told me to. A man was sitting behind the desk, probably around his thirties. His eyes were locked to the paper on his desk, not giving us much attention. I startled a bit when the door was closed behind us, creating a quite loud bang.

"What is it, Tracy?" he asked 'Tracy', which I assume was the name of the waitress next to me. He didn't even bother to lift his head. "The new night guard is here, sir." she replied politely.

He finally lifted his head, our gaze met. He was wearing glasses. "Are you miss (Y/N) (L/N)?" he questioned. I slowly nodded. "Alright. Thank you Tracy, for guiding her here. You are now dismissed." he stared at 'Tracy', a small smile was plastered on his face.

'Tracy' nodded, before bowed her head a little, and left the room. I guess it's just the two of us now. Awkward silence filled the room, until he cleared his throat. "Please sit down, miss (Y/N)." he gestured me to sit on the chair that's in front of his desk.

I did as he said. "I'm Henry, the manager of this restaurant, and the person who spoke with you through the phone before. It was nice to meet you, miss (Y/N)." he smiled. "Yeah, it's nice to meet you too." I answered, still feeling awkward.

"You came a bit early, but that's fine. What do you think about me giving you a small tour of this pizzeria?" he offered. "That sounds good." I smiled. He nodded, and stood up. I did the same.
