Chapter 05

Without myself noticing it, it's already almost 12 A.M. Henry had left, he said that he can not stay longer in here. After I locked the front door, I headed to my office. Better be there before it's 12 A.M.

To be honest, this place looks creepy at night. The whole pizzeria only have a dim light, to save some power they said. And the animatronics look as if they were staring at my soul, and it creeps me out. Their stare sends a chill down my spine.

I ran to the office, starting to freak out. Probably it is just me being paranoid, but, better safe than sorry, right? The office wasn't as big as I expected, actually.

Just an ordinary room, with two hallways leading to it. The room was quite dim as well, but not as dark as the others. There were two buttons beside the 'doors'. One of them was red, and the one under the red button was white.

I wonder what were they for? I sat myself down on the swivel seat. It was comfortable, actually. It has an odd scent, but I shrugged it off. I noticed that there was a tablet above the desk. I turned it on, and stared at it.

I suppose that it was for monitoring the rooms in this pizzeria. It showed the time, it was still 11 P.M. There's also 'Power left: 98%' at the bottom left corner. So I have limited powers?

Then, under the power left, there's 'usage', with a green bar next to it. I have an idea about this. I flipped through the cameras, and yep, another green bar appeared. I felt smart.

"Look at me, I found out about all of this by myself." I muttered to myself proudly, while grinning like a dork. I startled when the phone rang. I calmed myself down, before answering it. Who would be calling the pizzeria at this time?

"Hello," a masculine voice said. "Uhh, hello?" I said awkwardly. "Hello? I wanted to record a message for you to help you get settled in on your first night." the voice said. I frowned in disappointment. It was just a recording, not a real human.
