I don't know why I just did it. Being a hunter of Artemis is fun with the whole no responsibility, immortal blah blah blah. I have been by her side since like forever. I don't how long that is time goes slowly when you are a huntress. So after that time I, you know started getting bored. Running away from the other wasn't that hard when everyone was tired after fighting a monster. We were close to Long Island so it was not that far. The problem is it was hard to find.
I know I am a half blood because well, I know Artemis is my mother. She gave me a moon shaped pin that turned into a bow and arrow when I unpinned it. On the side it said "hunt well beloved daughter~Artemis" It always appeared on my shirt if I ever lost it. Don't ask me how I was born, I don't know myself. Maybe she also broke an oath like the big three.
I was born and raised with the hunters. They taught me all about the other gods and how Artemis has sworn to be a maiden forever. Artemis told me to never tell anyone I was her daughter. My favourite stories were about Percy Jackson and his friends. Thalia always told them. Once she told us about the time she was a tree and how they saved her. And the time where they all went on a quest together to save Artemis. That's when Zoe nightshade died. Thalia, Percy and Annabeth are like my idols. I didn't know them that well when I first saw them. The same year Thalia became Artemis new lieutenant. I saw them another time last year while we were fighting in the war. Thalia became like a big sister to me. I am going to miss her now hopefully we will meet again.
Now hopefully I get to see Percy and Annabeth again if they are at camp half blod.

I heard a crackling sound in the woods. I have never been out here alone. I got a bit scared, then pulled my self together thinking you can't be scared while trying to survive here. Then I saw an eye. Yup one eye. It was smaller than the other cyclops I have seen but still very big. I started running and when I looked back to see if I lost it I tripped over a log. That's when it heard me and looked my way. I un pinned my pin and shot aarrow at it's eye. It groaned and looked angrier. It bought me some time and hopefully couldn't see that well. I got up and felt an urgent pain running through my leg but I had to keep running. I have been to the camp before and remember it slightly.
I saw a glimpse of Thalia's tree and a dragon guarding it. I could feel excitement building in me but I was still a bit nervous. What if they hated me for abandoning the other hunters and Artemis. I regretted it a bit. What if she will hate me forever my own mother. It was a risk I was willing to take, I think.
I jumped over a fallen tree and ran up the hill. Nearly out of breath and panting i petted the copper scaled dragon, to show I was no danger , took a deep breath and crossed the border. I looked around and saw it looked the same just newer. I saw Percy and Annabeth training. Without thinking I ran to them and gave them a big hug. "You guys are awesome" I said nearly to loud.
They seemed a bit startled.
"Thanks Zula, when did you dye your hair dark brown" Percy asked
"I didn't dye my hair, and my name is Luna I can explain everything but first where's Chiron."
