The maidens daughter

Chapter 2

They showed me to the big house where Chiron and Dionysus was.

"Ah hello Zula, I like the changes you have made with your hair. What brings you here" said Chiron is a nice tone.

"My name is Luna I have not done anything to my hair! Who is Zula"

I told them that I was 13 and a bit regretful I told them how I ran away from Artemis.

"So you got in who is your godly parent" Dionysus asked suspiciously

"Art-" I stopped my self there remembering Percy and Annabeth were in the room. I haven't really decided if I should tell them yet. Thalia told me if I were lost or seek help i could always trust Chiron.

"I don't know I guess I am undetermined"

They put me in cabin 8 thinking it was too crammed in Hermes cabin and I was a hunter of Artemis. Some of the people from Hermes cabin helped me around. Some of the Aphrodite born talked to me and were amazed how I could run away like that.

"I knew someone would have regretted joining, I mean everyone has to find true love" said a girl that I didn't know the name of. I was to scared to say it wasnt a choice I made to join them I was just born there somehow. Also that was not the reason.

"You really look like Zula, just with darker hair" pointed out another girl

"Who?" I asked

They pointed at where she was then called her over. We kind of both gasped

"Hey what's up Camille" said Zula

"This is the new girl Luna"

"Hi I'm Zula, daughter of Apollo"

We were scarily alike. We had the same blue nearly green eyes. We were the same height but I was just a centimetre taler. We were also the same age with the same birthday, June 5th. The only difference was was that I had brown hair and she had blonde hair. We quickly became friends. Camille somehow charmed spoke Chiron and Dionysus into letting me sit with Zula at dinner. I mean we were somehow cousins so why not.

After dinner I said to her that I had to go ask Chiron something. She ran off with the others from her cabin and I walked to Chiron.

"Chiron i know i can trust you so I am showing you this" I unpinned the pin and showed him the grey silver bow with the shiny arrows, then what it said on the side.

"But how" he asked

I answered that I didn't know but it's true because she gave it to me in person.

That night was the first night i slept in cabin 8 alone. It was hard to sleep. I had a nightmare like something was wrong with the hunters and mum. But I could only see little glimpse at a time. It wasn't clear and I didn't know what it was about.

The next day Zula decided we should pull a prank on these two guys Travis and Connor Stoll. She said that they always played pranks on everyone and that it's time they get a taste if their own medicine. I remember them putting centaur blood on a shirt for Phoebe but apparently it was from Aphrodite so Percy could go on the quest. I haven't met them yet so they haven't seen me.

I walked up to them.

"Connor, Travis what did you put in the shampoo!"

"I haven't done anything have you Connor?"

"No, maybe Aphrodite cabin you look good in brown hair"

"That's it you're going to get for this, fix it!"

"Ok ok I have never seen you this angry"

They walked around the corner of a cabin.

"Hello Connor, Travis want a cookie?" I heard Zula say with the happiest sweetest voice. "Weren't you just there angry with dark hair?" Asked Travis confused

"I don't know what you are talking about, now if you don't mind I am going to pass these cookies around."

When I knew she couldn't be seen I got my angry face back on.

"Have you found anything to fix it yet"

"Umm no you already seemed fixed" said Connor even more confused.

"Dose it look like it, I still have brown hair!"

They said they would try to fix it and ran off.

I found Zula and we laughed. We continued like that the whole day, every time we saw them.

"Umm Luna I don't know if it's just me but I had a dream like my dad was in danger, but I couldn't really make out what is was"

"Me too except it was my mum and the hunters who were the ones in danger."

She asked who my mother was so I told her and showed her my pin. She said she had the same pin but hers was a gold sun shaped one. Her bow and arrows were the same colour when she unpinned it. Amazed that we had similar pins we went to Chiron to talk about our dreams. Maybe it meant something and maybe it didn't.
