"I wrote you something" He says shyly.

I take a deep breath as I write these
Ones I've crossed out a thousand times
They never sounded right
I love the way you laugh like chimes
Ringing through me like Bright blue skies
This is the thing I want to keep please don't walk away from me

Your words whisper like rain washing away all of my pain
Oxygen through my veins
How easy is it just to say I can't live without the rain
Like wind through the leaves you bring the air

Oh what I never knew I could smile I could laugh a while
You give me heart you give me rain I can smile again
Whispers of rainbow skies I never feel time passing by
A blink or a whisper you are my life

Love was never easy never a simple rhyme
It always took my life now I've got time to just believe in the stars again
What it means to be whole again
I know I only do the small while you tower ten feet tall
I try my best and stumble and fall
I try to raise you high where you belong in the midnight sky

Break my bones to build you whole
I can never watch you fall
Your my all my only reason barely there without your reason
My voice of reason my voice of words essence is kinda lonesome without you there

Your words whisper like rain washing away all of my pain
Oxygen through my veins
How easy is it just to say I can't live without the rain
Like wind through the leaves you bring the air

My life without it there's no need to care
I need you there I need the lights to guide me home

My bright light my midnight sky you make me fly high

"Mike that's beautiful" I manage to chock out between the tears.
