steph's p.o.v

"1-2-3 down 1-2-3 up" the sergeant called. "okay everyone that's it for today, get a nice rest, tomorrow will be much more challenging."

i sighed and fell to the ground. looking up to the sky, i groaned. knowing the sergeant, he would find a way to make our life's tougher than it already is, but hey if you're in the military that's how life's gonna be ...

"steph, steph, STEPH!!!"

jumping up as fast as possible, i hit my head on the celling of my cabin...

"OW! ugh what"

i look up to see my annoying roommate, scarlet, who also happens to be my only friend.

"i just wanted to wake you up to let you know that you had fell asleep on the ground and christian-"

"noooooo ugh" i whined not enjoying his name being mention.

"-carried you here." scarlet finishes as i whine even more.

"WHY WOULD YOU LET HIM CARRY ME OH MY GOD" i was terrified at the fact that he carried me in my room i mean he could have raped me for all i know!

"why won't you give him a chance?! you few know how much he likes you!" she quietly shouted back.

i dropped my head to my hands and sighed. i just strongly dislike socializing , im not awkward or anything i just prefer to do things on my own. im more of an independent person. and besides i have scarlet, and that's enough. for now i guess, because you never know.

"IDK! it's just that ... idk ... im not ... im just not ugh im not interested okay!" i gave up and threw the covers over my head.

"um ... well okay then ... good night then, you heard what sergeant said" she replied and went to her bed.

i remembered and just chose not to think about it, being annoyed enough. i stared up at the celling just hoping sleep would take over me soon ...
