Drowsy and tired, she stood there not noticing anything around her. Not noticing the beast that stood growling in front of her, the spirit floating in front of her closed eyes yelling at her to come back to her senses. She felt a sense of peace, even in all this. The wind gently blowing her hair to the side, the sound of voices off in the distance, and the plain feeling of peace resonating inside her.

This did not last long, however, as the yelling and growling finally hit her ears. Eyes flying open, she had just caught as the beast in front of her, seemingly made out of darkness jumped at her. Instinctively she threw her arm up, blocking the blow from her face. Shearing pain hit her arm as the wolf's jaws bit deep into her arm, blood soon following. Veins around the bite turned to an inky black as the beast sunk its teeth deeper into her arm. Not knowing how to react, she rapidly kicked at the wolf-like creature as she screamed from the pain, hoping to get it off of her as she felt herself getting tired. After enough effort, the creature finally let go, running off as it growled, the sound seemingly echoing off the rotted trees around them. She let out a sigh of relief, having forgotten about the small spirit beside her as it floated around her, examining her.

Worried mumblings could be heard from the small spirit, its pie-cut eyes wide and the mouth constantly moving. It has gone quiet to her as she looked around, wondering where she could be. She couldn't remember how she got there or why she was there. Her memory haze as she sat down, now dizzy from whatever was injected into her arm. The spirit floated down beside her, she noted it was only the eyes and a mouth, and nothing else.

"I told you to wake up... I told you, I told you..." It muttered to itself, looking worried and guilty at the same time. Gazing at the arm which was now seeping with blood, she continued to look around, confused by her surroundings and scared by their appearance. It was eerily quiet with no sound but the far off voices in the distance coinciding with ghost-like noises and the wind. The trees now barren of leaves and weeping for their lost, the wind was now almost gone, but her hair whipped about. The edges of her vision now black as she looked around this dark place.

"Are you even listening to me?!" The small spirit shrieked as it tried to grab her attention. She hadn't noticed it had left the ramblings behind for now coherent words.

"I'm sorry.. Who are you?" She simply asked, her eyes half shut as she grew tired once again. "And where am I? Could you explain?" She yawned, her arms stretching above her head as she tried to stay awake to hear the reply.

The spirit simply sighed as it shook what would've been his head, were his face had a body. "This place has no name, but it might as well be hell," He simply said, "I'm afraid you're where we all go."

"Where we all go?" She questioned, slightly tilting her now heavy head to the side. "After what?" She added onto her question, holding onto her arm as the pain had finally hit her worse than it had before.

"You shall learn that for yourself," he simply said, now examining the wound with more careful coherent thought. "You need to stop the bleeding. Get up. All the screaming certainly has attracted other monsters," he said, floating up above the dying trees to examine around them.

"Why don't you stop the bleeding..." She mumbled, her thoughts no longer coherent as she grew even more tired. "I'm tired..." She yawned as the spirit came back down to face her.

"Well you can't sleep and you have to do it. I can't grab anything for one, for two if you fall asleep you're more vulnerable." He noted, all worry was now out of his voice, though still resonated in his eyes. She only grew more tired, but she followed his commands. Getting up, she looked around her, she was very zombie-like in the process as she looked for something to wrap her arm in. As if in defeat, she sighed as she grabbed the end of her shirt. It was the only thing she'd be able to use as a bandage until she found civilization. Ripping at the fabric, it seemed rougher than it should've. The cloth almost wood like, covered in mud from someplace. Splatters like paint now on her side. After much effort she finally finished her mission and wrapped the dirty cloth around her arm. It was going to be infected for sure, but better just stop the bleeding and deal with the infection when it comes.
