Chapter Two: The Great Gathering

I led Rey and Goldenrod through the Ice Pack Territory, my wings shifting uncomfortably. I kept walking. "Are you sure this is a good idea?" Rey asked. "All the Packs should know the secret. Just come on." I said.

At last, we arrived at the camp. Damienstar came down. I saw two young wolves with... wings. Like me. "What do you want? Galaxy Pack scum." Rey growled, and I silenced him with a flick of my tail. "We were going to tell a secret, but I guess you already know." I said, shooting a glance at the two with wings.

"We will be having a meeting about this at the next Highmoon." I said. We walked off.

Nighthawkstar
I heard of the meeting that the Packs would be having the next half - moon. It would be at Highmoon, and only the Alphas, Betas, and Healers would come. I wondered what it would be about.

Damienstar
I told Nighthawkstar of the meeting Solunastar called. What a joke, the youngest Alpha calling a meeting.

My brother warned me not to come to the meeting. But if I didn't, I would be considered dishonorable. I had to go. I told Brother (Slate) and Moon let's go.

Skystar
A meeting between all the Packs.. I wondered what that would be all about. Ice Pack could have used it as an advantage to attack the Packs whilst the Alphas, Betas and Healers were gone.. I told my Pack to stay alert, to protect the weak, and to stay in their dens.
Solar was definitely coming with me, and I'd be taking Mune. The Pack needed a fully trained Healer to help them. We were ready for the meeting.

Skystar told me of the meeting. I knew I had to go. I wondered what it was about as Fern, Aaliyah, Sapling and I walked to the Meeting.

The Packs gathered at the Crystal Tree, Healers shifting uncomfortably, the Betas sitting alert and ready for an ambush, and the Alphas discussing and fighting.

"Solunastar, I know the secret. The Pack of the Sky has told me, I am a King, royalty passed down from my ancestor, King Blackout of the Winged Wolves. My pups, Skiflight and Icestrike, were born with wings, a clear sign that I am destined to be a King. The Winged Wolves around the globe should join under my reign, we shall be peaceful, powerful, and not hesitate to get rid of traitors. Ice Pack shall rule!" Damienstar howled.

Distant howls could be heard from the Ice Pack Territory. Solunastar gaped at Damienstar. That wasn't the secret.

"How do we know that you're not lying?" Nighthawkstar snarled. "True royalty would have spots near their eyes, and they would have inherited King Blackout's kindness and generosity, and Queen Storm's fairness and brains. They wouldn't be a self centered wolf with the personality of Melt and Spider Roguer."

Damienstar growled. "How dare you insult the King? Ice Pack, attack!"
