New Boy

Chapter 2

Chloe's pov:

The final bell rang, and I couldn't be anymore happy. Even though today was a successful first day of school, it was still not fun. I was headed out the front doors of the school, until I completely collided with someone, and it hurt like hell. 

"Omg! I'm so sorry, I didn't see u there and I was in a complete rush and I'm so sorry. Are u hurt?" said the new boy. I completely realized I just ran into the hot new boy every girl is already head over heels for.

"Oh, yeah I'm fine" I said and ran off. I could admit I was scared of talking to him. He just seemed so tough and all that, I was afraid to embarrass myself. But finally I got to my car, where Mads was waiting for me. 

"Hey!" Maddie said. I was scared about telling her what happened, but I did anyways. 

"I just totally ran into the hot new guy and made a fool out of myself. I'm so embarrassing." 

"Omg really! Was he hotter up close?" Maddie asked with an excitement. 

"Umm, don't you remember you have a boyfriend?" I laughed

"Oh shut up." I started the car and dropped Mads off at her house and headed home. When I got home, my mom was already home from work. She was playing a board game with my sister, Paige. I walked in the house and could smell the delicious spaghetti my mom was making. She usually only makes spaghetti for more special occasions. 

"What's going on tonight?" I asked

"Me and your dad invited the new neighbors over for dinner. I'm pretty sure they have a daughter in 6th and a son your age." I then realized that the son may be the hot guy I ran into today. 

"I may have cheer practice tonight though, so I may have to miss the dinner." I tried coming up with an excuse, but it didn't really work. 

"Well if you do, then you have to skip it  because this dinner is more important tonight," my mom argued. I couldn't battle with her, so I just prepared myself for this awful dinner. My mom suggested that I should change, but I didn't feel like it because I didn't need to impress anyone. I just reapplied some mascara and headed down to the kitchen. 

The door bell soon rang and my mom answered. The mom, dad, and sister entered, then lastly the new guy, giving me a nervous feeling.

Sorry I haven't updated in so long, but thank you guys for actually reading this story. I thought I was gonna get 0 people to read this. 

Also I didn't take the time to edit this, so if u see any mistake I'm sorry.
