JUSTIN

I was in my room thinking of the events that happened today. I can't believe I walked away from Ariana. I was just really mad. Really mad at myself. I didn't realise one year already passed so fast. I guess my attention was on Selena the whole time. Suddenly, my phone rang. I looked at my caller ID and saw Selena's name.

What does she want from me now?

I decided to pick up the call and her cheery voice was heard. "Hey babe, tomorrow is going to be our one year anniversary so can you take me out for dinner at Lavellé's? Pretty please"she begs me. Of all places Lavellé's. It was Ari's favourite restaurant. It's quite fancy and expensive but whenever I'm with Ariana, I give in easily.

"Fine. I will pick you up in thirty. Be ready by then,"I said.

I immediately got ready for the date. I don't know why I am excited. I guess the restaurant reminds me of Ariana. Thinking of Ari makes my heart flutter.

When I looked at the time it was seven forty-five. The drive to Selena's house is only fifteen minutes so it should be enough time. I got out of my house and drove my car to Selena's.

As soon as I reached her house, I saw her leaning against a wall. I took a deep breath before getting out and opening the passenger seat door.

"Hey babe,"Selena greeted me before crashing her lips onto. I immediately pushed her away.

"What was that for?"she asks while pouting.

"Sorry, I thought I heard someone's phone ringing,"I reply while scratching my head. "Anyway, let's go,"

ARIANA

As soon as Jai and I got a table for two, we were given our menus.

"Hey baby,"Jai asks.

"Yeah?"

"What can you find on your menu?"

"What?"what is he saying?"I don't know. Food and drinks,"I guess.

"No babe. Me-'n'-u"

"Cheesy and simple. I like,"I smiled.

I like it when Jai and I say jokes to each other. Jai always has cheesy pick up lines that amazes me. I'm a hopeless romantic.

Jai and I already ordered our food and the restaurant was buzzing. Everyone was caught up in the own conversation when suddenly it became quiet. I ignored the silence and continued to chat with Jai.

"Look! It's Justin and Selena! Jelena!"someone from the back yelled.

My head snapped to the entrance and I couldn't be more shocked. What is Justin and Selena doing here? I'm trying to enjoy my dinner date but apparently as soon as I saw their faces, I lost my appetite.

When Justin's eye met mine, his eyes widened. Just like I thought. Selena suggested them to come here. I sighed before excusing myself to the bathroom.

"Babe, I'll go to the bathroom. I won't be long,"I informed Jai as he nodded his head.

I was in the bathroom alone when Selena came strutting in with some hideous dress of hers.

"Aww, look at Ariana. Putting make up and trying to act perfect,"she cooed sarcastically.

"Listen up here bitch, I didn't do anything to you so get the hell out of my sight. I know your plans to ruin me but I'm wasn't born yesterday. I was born 21 years ago,"I flipped her off before walking out of the bathroom. As I walked past her, I stepped on her foot with my 2 inch heels.

"Serves you right,"I mumbled.
