I just want to make a few things clear on this story that I am currently working on.
I have a huge love for FFXIII. If you couldn't tell already by my profile. However, I am currently playing through the game right now as the convos by Sazh and Lightning are literally ripped word for word from the game's script. Doing something this ambitious can take a while to do so I ask that my readers please be patient with me. Chapter 1 is complete though and Chapter 2 will come soon. The Chapters go by the in-game chapters. So Ch. 1 in the fanfic also details what happened in Ch. 1 in the game and so on.
However let me be clear about one thing. The character and the story will ONLY COVER EVENTS SURROUNDING LIGHTNING AND THE M/C. Also original content will be placed as well such as the taunting line between the enemy officer and the M/C. Along with potential original chapters which will be detailed and named between the chapters like "Ch. 2.5" or etc. Which this means if someone is separated from the crew like in the beginning of the game with Snow, Hope and Lightning in different places, the M/C will be placed with Lightning to reduce content loads for me but as this is a fanfic solely based on a character insert with Lightning I hope this makes sense.
However, I hope everyone enjoys this story to the fullest and no this doesn't mean that I have stopped my other works either. I planned on explaining two key things here as well. Here they are.
* My main works from now on will be this and "A Shot in the Silence" as a few people have inquired about updates to that story. I will get to it hopefully at some point but this story technically comes first in the series and "A Shot in the Silence" comes second to last so it may not be updated as frequently. However that doesn't mean it won't get updated at all.
* Second, my most popular story, "Light Never Dies" may potentially be scrapped from the ground up and rewritten. Or I will alter the current version slightly or I will totally leave it alone. But I don't want to touch it until I can get user feedback as it is my most popular work. I'd like to hear what your vote is out of the three options I listed.
* Third, "A Shot in the Silence" will mainly be original work so it may come out later as it is mostly "Original Content" as Girls' Frontline isn't as established in terms of plot as say something like a title such as "Final Fantasy XIII". But like I said above, it won't mean that I won't work on it, that just means I won't come out with anything on that story for a while or as frequently.
* Fourth, some of you may have noticed the roman numerals after each of my titles. Obviously that is the chronological order of my stories. I had the brilliant idea of making them into a series. Hopefully they come out well but some of them like Books III, IV, V and VII I will not reveal anything on until they are released and I am ready to reveal info on them. (Which is why I put the fourth-wall breaking text on their first "Chapters" so to speak.)
