Saturday

Julian

I woke up in Romeo's arms, where I love waking up. I smiled, shutting my eyes again. The room felt cold, but Romeo probably put the covers, that are now on us, on us. That sounded stupid. Very. I turned over to where I'm facing Romeo. Romeo's comfy grip tightened around me. I checked the clock somewhere behind him. 10:34 glowed in red on the clock. Eh. "Good morning, Babe." Romeo said, his hand running through my hair. He always does that in the morning, and I have no problems with it. "Good morning." I smiled. Romeo kissed my forehead then checked the time behind him. He paused, "What day is it?" He asked. "Saturday, why?" I asked. "We have, like, two hours to get dressed and go to school to get on the bus and travel to Nevada." Romeo said, still not moving. Why Nevada, you ask? Because we are in California. I mean, its, like, a state next to us above Arizona, so. Easy peasy. I got out of bed, Romeo slowly following behind, as I walked outside to use the guest bathroom so Romeo can use ours.

I walked in stripping down to nothing. I pushed back the shower curtain and hopped in, turning the valve to let the water run. I turned on the shower, pushing the curtain closed, and washed myself.

I hopped out of the shower once I done my business, turning the water off and grabbing a towel. I dried off my body before wrapping the towel around my waist.

I put on my clothes after a short shower, black jeans and a red shirt that said 'F*ck Off' with a middle finger between 'F*ck' and 'Off'. Like Up and Down style? I don't know. I heard Julian open the door, making his way towards his closet. I turned around, getting a peek at him. His body was still slightly wet, the small drops on his back glistening from the sunlight coming through the curtains. If only now was a good time. I grabbed two duffel bags and started packing my essentials in one duffel bag, a dark green one. Julian's was a indigoish blue. I turned around so Julian can have some privacy while he changed, but I wish I didn't have to. I stuffed about 7 or 8 shirts and 8 or 9 pants, putting 10 boxers in there, too. Then, a thought popped in my head. 'What will me and Julian do if no one knows we are together?'. Well, fuck. "Julian?" I asked. "Mhm?" He said. "What are we going to do if no one knows we are together?" I asked, stuffing my phone charger and my laptop charger along with said laptop. He paused then hesitated. "W- Uh... Secret?" He said. "As in?" I asked.

"Well, we can do what we normally do, but as a secret. Mrs. Wilson did say we are paired up in hotel rooms by our roles. We will be okay." Julian said. Phew. I forgot about that. I zipped up my duffel bag as Julian was halfway through packing his. "I feel like I'm forgetting something..." He muttered under his breath. He checked off a list in his mind by counting his fingers. "Phone." He said and looked for his charger, throwing his phone lightly in the duffel bag. He grabbed his charger, put it in, zipped it up, then grabbed it. "Let's go." He said, making his way out the bedroom door and down the stairs. I followed shortly behind and grabbed my car keys. I unlocked the car, locking the house door. Julian popped open the trunk and put his duffel bag in neatly. I put mines beside his and closed the trunk. We both got in the car, him in the back because he said he was tired, and I started the engine.

We parked in the school and I opened the trunk. I got out of the car and walked over, Julian still asleep. Everyone knows we live together, they just think it's because Julian lives too far and he can't afford a house. I mean, that excuse does seem reasonable. I slung the duffel bags over my shoulder, them seeming surprisingly lighter than I thought and opened the back door. I shut the trunk carefully and picked up Julian, shutting the door silently and locking the car. I carried him to the bus, everyone scattered around it while waiting for Mrs. Wilson. Julian woke up, hopping out of my hands. He rubbed his face and yawned. "Wh-What time is it?" He asked groggily. "11:02. Mrs. Wilson has to hurry before we get late." I said. Just as if on queue, she squealed into the parking lot. She parked unevenly and rushed out of her car. "Pack your stuff in the bus and get seated! I'll be there in a sec!" She hollered across the parking lot. After a minute of people scrambling to get their stuff in, we all decided on opening the back door of the bus. Some threw their stuff in, others, like me and Julian, put ours in neatly so we get it back safely.
