Chapter 4 – It’s Only Getting Started.

I’m sitting there in the cab dosing off. I’m so tired. About a minute or two until we reached the airport and I fell asleep. Christian awoken me. My head was rested on his shoulder. I couldn’t believe it. I feel asleep on him. My face lit up as I awoken and we walked in the airport. I’ve never been here before. My parents never had the money to ride an airplane or go on vacation. It felt weird here. I saw people I knew and I just hid behind Christian each time. Thankfully he’s taller than me.

“Christian you have the tickets, right?” I started shaking. I was scared. All these thoughts about the plane crashing or breaking scared me.

“Of course, don’t be scared. You’ve never been on a plane, have you?”

“N-no.” I grabbed his arm and started hugging it.

“C-calm down Danielle.” I could barely see his face but I could tell he was blushing. I smiled. Christian blushing is the cutest thing I’ve ever seen.

Christian handed the lady the tickets and we got on the plane. I followed Christian to our seats. I felt like a lost puppy.

About thirty minutes passed and I’m starting to fall asleep.

“Hey Danielle, listen to this.” Christian put an ear bud in my ear. I wasn’t listening at all. I was falling asleep. “Danielle? Oh you’re falling asleep.” Christian put his IPod back in his pocket and fell asleep.

My head was on his shoulder again. I couldn’t believe he’s letting me sleep like this too. His head was on mine now. I couldn’t believe this. I was awake, but I didn’t want to wake him up. This moment was just too perfect. So I went back to sleep.

“D-D-Danielle?” Christian mumbled.

“What?” His voice when he just wakes up. It’s just too perfect.

“This is awkward.” I started laughing.

“I know.” I lied. This wasn’t awkward one bit. An elderly lady walked by.

“You two remind me of my husband and I when we were your age,” she started, “I remember cuddling with him on a plane.” She continued walking. Our faces turned millions of shade of red.

“You’re cute when you blush.” Christian told me.

“N-no you are.” Christian’s face lit up even more. “Christian. I have something to ask you.”

“W-what is it?” He was nervous. I know he’s not thinking what I’m thinking.

“Can I touch your-“

“DANIELLE. NO.” I started laughing. I could never picture Christian being perverted.

“I WASN’T TALKING ABOUT THAT.” I was laughing so hard I was crying. “I want to touch your hair.”

“Oh.” Christian joined me in laughing. “God ahead. But believe me, it’s not this beautiful when I wake up.” I started laughing and started to pet him like a cat.

“Please, I’m begging you, never ever put ranch dressing in your hair ever again. I will cry.”

“Alright, so when we get to Orlando buy ranch dressing and put it in my hair? Okay.”

“No. I’m begging your please don’t. I die a little bit every time I see that video.”

“Along with many others. I don’t see why. And are you going to continue petting me?”

“Well duhh. You have lushes hair. It’s just too perfect.” It was like touching a cloud. His hair is just so perfect. It’s soft and if I were a kitten, I’d sleep on his head everyday and all day. “I’m going to continue petting you okay?”

“Oh.” He made a frownie face.” I couldn’t. I had to hold in my urge to fan girl.

“Don’t make that face at me mister.”

“Oh I will.” The people across from us stared.

“You see son, that’s a young couple. And that’s what love is.” Christian and I stared at each other our faces were all red. We sat and laughed.

“We’re not dating, we’re just friends. But I love my best friend.” Christian told the man across from us.

“See son, they will end up together one day. Their meant to be.” I stared at the man.

“Danielle are you okay?”

“W-what? I’m fine.” I couldn’t stop thinking about what he said. Maybe he was right. I was secretly fan girling in my mind.
