Moving On From Ryder

Sarahs POV

"So wanna watch a movie?' Tory asks me. I move closer to her on the couch and put my face in my hands. She rubs my back in a comforting way. "Im sorry Ryder.. broke up with you." She said, easily avoiding the word used.

"Its what Ryder Daniels does. He's a boy, a typical player in the game of love, and girls, just the pawn, the game pieces yenno?" I sigh. I lasted longer than his other girlfriends. Not only did he use me for a good grade on a school project, he also use me for my body. He let me spend the night one night when i had stayed late. I layed down on the couch but he carried me to his bed. He tugged on my shirt but I didnt like it. I didnt like him anymore after that. He yelled at me to comply and love him but I couldnt. He got my shirt off and tried to get more of but I screamed and hit him, running out with my shirt in my hands. I told him I wasnt ready. He asked everyday.

"Atleast he cant get near you any longer, ever since my dad filed a restraining order for him." I smiled at that. I didnt want him near me and Im thankful that Mr.Vega had done that for me. "So hows about that movie?" she asks.

"I will get the chips, popcorn, and soda!" I say leaping up from my seat on the couch and running to the kitchen. I grab a few cans of Wacko Punch and turn my attention to making the popcorn. I hear the door slam and turn around quickly.

"Vega! Becks cheating on me with some actress!" Jade yells. Im not a friend of hers. She doesnt know I exsist, but I have the hugest crush on her. Yeah yeah I know what youre thinking. Sarah Martins likes Jade West, and Cat Valentine. No one knows.

"Jade Im sure Beck isnt cheating on you. He is allowed to be friends with other girls, right?" Tory asks her.

"Yeah, ugly girls. Like her." Jade points at me and I choke on my Wacko Punch. What? "Who is that anyways?"she asks Tory.

"Thats my friend Sarah. Sarah Mar-I dont care!" Jade interrupts Tory. I bring over the snacks and sodas.

"Hi. Um Jade. We go to sc-school together. I have english, math, and Sikowits' class with you. I sit behind you in each one." Jade snarls.

"I didnt need your backstory honey." She fakes a smile to me and Tory slaps her shoulder.

"Be nice Jade. Sarah is my friend. She would like to be your friend too yenno." Jade rolls her eyes at Torys statement. I frown and pretend to check my phone.

"Hey Tuna, mom wants me home now because her boss will be over soon for dinner." I grab my gray and blue varsity cardigan sweater and my gray Neff beanie and walk out.

"Bye Sharkie!" I hear Tory shout. I slowly close the door and hear Jade say something that makes me smile.

"God she is pretty, and i know who she is Vega. She is Sarah Meagan Martins, prettiest girl at school, well in my eyes anyways. Im in love with her blue hair and her green eyes. Shes perfect, I dont know how a person like Ryder could use her. I know I wont." Did I, did I just hear Jade West correctly or am I dreaming? I pinch myself. Mom is at the door to greet me when i get home.

"Hey girl, how was your day?" She asks hugging me.

"It was... amazing." I run upstairs to my room.
