Chapter 3

Sky P.O.V

It's now Maths which means it 45 minutes till lunch break. Time couldn't pass any slower.

I sat there waiting for the teacher to come while doodling in my notebook. I always doodle my imaginary best friends saying weird stuff whenever I am bored.

I was drawing Berry telling a punny joke to Marry when suddenly I felt someone behind me. It was Miranda. She was watching me draw which always makes my drawing turn into a mess from pressure I guess.

"You're really good." She said smiling before pulling a chair closer so she can sit beside me.

"Thank you. And you have a really good voice. I heard you sing before  and with a little training I think you could be great." I said putting down my pencil turning to look at her but my gaze went to look at Mark.

"Aw! That's really sweet of you..." she was saying a lot of things that I didn't hear all I could see was Mark and Minna talking with each other.

I was interrupted by hand waving in front of my face. "Yo! You here or what? Are you Okay?"

I nodded giving her a reassuring smile. I felt something different that I haven't felt before when I looked at him. He smiled at me again.

I shook my head and noticed that I was freaking staring at him. The teacher came in and every one took their seats and everything passed like normal and but, I still couldn't concentrate that much I was drawing the while time.

"Mrs. Blue! Can you get me the value of X in this equation." The teacher said pointing at The equation.

"X=3 or -2" I said not lifting my head from the paper. The room got silent which made me look up and it turned out that my answer was right.

"Good. Please concentrate." He said and continued explaining the lesson.

I sighed and kept drawing until a piece of paper hit my head and landed on the desk. Looked at it and reached to open it and it said.

'Nice work. ~Minna'

I looked at her, she was sitting at the end of the classroom and she grinned and gave me two thumbs up, which made me smile.

I turned the paper around and it was written on it 'Cheer up!' I looked at her and mouthed 'I am fine don't worry'.

I wished everyone noticed like she does. She smiled at me and went back to looking at the board.

I rested my head on the desk listening to what the teacher was saying quietly.

The bell rang and it was time for lunch break. I was asleep when suddenly I felt someone tapping my shoulder. I raised my head of the desk and looked to see Minna and Mark looking at me.

I jumped back to my normal sitting position. "Hey!" I said tucking my hair behind my ear."What's up?"

"Its lunch time." Mark said in his deep voice which made me more awake than before.

"Yeah right. I will be with you in a moment you can go ahead first." I said putting my things in my bag.

"Okay. We will be at table seven." Minna said before waving goodbye and left.

I got up and walked lazily to the restroom to wash my face. I splashed water on my face which was very refreshing. Then I added a little bit of lip balm because my lips were really dry.

Then I started walking to the cafeteria when I bumped into someone. I almost fell but he caught me. I looked up to see it was Mike.

Mike was one of the guys who made me feel like school wasn't that bad after all. He was really nice to me and I was really comfortable around him which was nice.

"Hey. Sorry didn't see you there. If you just were a little taller." Mike said and as usual teasing me about my height great.

I punched him playfully on his arm. "You're never gonna stop teasing me about my height." I said crossing my arms.

"Maybe I will, but that's when you get taller. Which means never." He laughed a little. I just smiled before giving him a tight hug.

I really missed him. He was really playful which is really funand I never found it annoying that he is making fun of my height.

"Somebody really missed me." He chuckled before hugging me back. "I missed you too.." He whispered softly before letting go of the hug.

"I gotta go my friends are waiting."  He said. I nodded and then he left. I walked to Minna who was smiling in a really creepy way.

"What is it?" I said before sitting beside them. "Do you like Mike?" She said with the same smile plastered on her face.

"No! We are just friends." I said "But the way you looked at him doesn't say that." She said wiggling her eyebrows.

"Ooh! Shut up! He is just a friend." I said looking around the table. "Where is Mark?" I asked looking at Minna.

"He is getting himself food. Why are you asking?" She said looking at me.

"Nothing it's just you said that he was going to be with us during lunch break I thought maybe you changed your mind" I said eating my food slowly.

"Don't worry he is actually coming our way now." She said before standing up.

"Hey babe." He said and then kissed her. And this is when I looked away uncontrollably.

He sat down in front of me. Smiling like always. "Hey!" He said looking at me before continuing. "You were really asleep in Maths class."

My eyes widen, was he concentrating with me or did I snore and everyone was looking at me. I started freaking out from the inside.

"Don't worry you weren't snoring."  He said chuckled. My eyes widens can he read mindes i thought before sighing in relife.

"Its just that I didn't sleep well last night I was thinking about a lot of stuff." I said while eating and not looking at him.

It felt weird talking to him It felt like I wanna tell him everything that was bothering me I felt comfortable talking to him.

"Maybe you need to talk to someone about it. I am here if you need and ear to listen I am good listener."
