"So let me just get this straight. You, Rin and Shirō are all part of something called the Holy Grail war, where "heroes" fight for the Holy Grail. These "heroes"are supposed to keep their identities a secret by using "class" names. And you are one of those heroes and Shirō is your Master?"
"That's just a brief idea of the Grail War." replied Saber.
"So what does this have to do with me? And how did I end up half way across the world?"
"Well honestly, we don't know how you ended up here either, but we're pretty sure that you got caught up in a Servants battle." said Saber.
"But if these "Servants" are supposed to be heroes why would they attack an innocent person like me?"
"Well it's part of the rules. If anyone witnesses a Servant battle, the Servants are supposed to abandon that battle and kill the witness." replied Rin.
"Oh. So not that I wanted to die, but why didn't they kill me?"
"Oh! I can tell you that one. It's because we showed up just in time just before Lancer was about to stab you." Shirō exclaimed.
"Oh. Well I guess I owe you my life. Thank you. Um... 1 more thing. Just now when I first sat down next to Saber,I felt a sort of weird feeling. I guess I could say it felt like our consciousnesses were fused for just a second."
"Yes, I recall that as well. I see what you meant Shirō." Saber answered.
"So what does that mean exactly."
Rin answered.
"It means that you have some sort of talent in mage craft, and a magical connection to the legendary King Arthur."
