Last day at work

I can't sleep ,my eyes are wide open.
Troubles from  different corners  

I decided to take a cup of coffee ,or should I rather take sedatives? I asked myself

Coffee will be better because I  gotta go to work  tomorrow.

My mum is on the sick bed ,a cancer ♋ patient I'm wondering how she's feeling right now

My supporter ,my boyfriend he jilted me for my best friend ,Damn you Eddie! I said to myself

I took the coffee and went to bed

I woke up the next morning at eight a.m , it was a long night .I peeped through the window and I saw people moving ,cars and high school students   
holding  their books and carrying their backpack
I quickly took my bath , listening to the soft and slow  music which made me emotional .I put on a royal blue skirt and a white long sleeve shirt and I wore a  high heel shoe. I brushed my hair and applied  a red lipstick, I took my  car keys .I got  my car through  mortgage. All  The bills are on me , electricity bills ,waste bills , house rent and my  mother's hospital bills so I can't afford to buy a car . I drove to my office ,so glad there was no traffic.

I entered my office and I saw a large file on my table which the secretary told me to sign on. As I was going through the files I got a text from eddie that says "bianca forget about me and you , i spends too much on you ,my savings my salary ,your mum hospital bills a lot of things so I just wanna end this and I think Chloe  is better because she don't have any problem for me to spend on just don't  communicate with me again goodbye!"
Tears dropped from my eyes to my mouth and it tasted sour" why is this happening to me my mood swinged  instantly and I placed  my head on  my table and slept off.
The  knock on the door woke me up.
It  was the secretary ,she came to request for the files.
Oh  my gosh I'm done for .
I was acting crazily and stammering at the same time .
miss Bianca mendoza you haven't worked  on the files?
The  secretary asked .
It's like a clash of thunder in my brain because I know that those statements aint gonna  be funny .
I tried.... I mean ..I'v..e done all sorry nothing I've done nothing.
My body was shaking.
Miss bianca, the boss sent me to give you those files because you are  to sign on them and he said he gat a  contract to sign with those files.

My phone rings and I took it I didn't pick it because it  was my mom's doctor it's   gonna  to be all about bills I rejected  the call and continue my conversation with the secretary

So Miss bianca you have to be very swift with the files the boss will soon be around.

the secretary left my office and I was downcast how can I be so stupid to fall asleep when I have some work to do.Well I gotta do it fast I said to myself.
My mom's doctor called again I didn't pick because I know it's all about money.I thought about my problems once again and tears roll down my cheeks " I really  have to work on these files". I said

Lots of thoughts were crossing my mind.
Moments later I called the secretary to pick up the files.
Secretary I'm through with the files.
Ok  miss bianca I gotta crosscheck.
Ok  secretary no problem.
I was wondering what the hell she wanna   cross check ,I was told the secretary has been working in this company for over 5 years and besides she isn't married that's her own problem I gat mine too.
Oh my gosh ! miss bianca you signed   where the company that wanna  award  the contract is supposed to sign.
I went dead instantly there is no spirit and soul in me only my body.

Secretary are you sure?    I cant sign  where the awarding company is supposed  to sign ,I checked the files and it was so ,I was shocked I knew the end has come for me in this job.

Miss bianca I can see you are troubled and you are kind of losing concentration.
It's like I was stabbed .Did the  secretary just say that.

Miss bianca! miss bianca !!

Oh sorry yes I was lost in thought.

I don't know what is wrong with you these days even the boss is suspecting and with this you've done I don't know how the reaction of the boss is gonna be

The Secretary dropped the files on my table and she went to her office.

Moments later my telephone rings and the secretary told me that the boss needs  my attention.
I went to the boss office
Standing in front of the bus is like standing in front of God for your judgement

"Miss bianca how are you" the boss
said" 

I'm fine mr hart.

The  files I asked you to sign?

They are fine.. sorry sir.. I mean they are on my table.

My heart was pounding as if a wild animal is after  me.

Okay  let me call the secretary to bring it.

He  called the secretary through the telephone and he told her to bring the files.

"Oh my gosh my job is done here" I said silently to myself.

The secretary brought the files and she left

mr hart goes through the files oh my gosh no no no how I wish this ain't  happening.

Holy shit !!miss bianca you signed where the awarding company is supposed to sign, this contract is gone even they are blunders in the introduction you wrote.

Tears rolled down from my eyes

Miss bianca are you daft I've been noticing that you are lacking concentration in your aspect of work now you've done the worst!

Those last words made me frozen it's like the world is outta  me I went to my office  in silence and I gently packed my stuffs and left

The secretary wasn't in her office when I left ,I think it's good though because she is not gonna sympathise or do anything.

I got home and opened the refrigerator and took a beer

I remembered my mum's condition and I poured some sedatives into the beer because I wanna sleep like there's no tomorrow

I really cried 😭 that my eyes got swollen

It began to rain ,I closed all the windows , switch off the TV and lights  I took a shower and I changed into my pyjamas

I can't believe Mr Hart fired me

Today was tragic

I remembered the text Eddie sent to me , Chloe my best friend is now having an affair with Eddie ,that's crazy .

"I gotta stop thinking about all this shit because it made me to lose my job today"  I said .

I drank the beer and I slept off .
