A visit to my mother

I woke up the next day ,it was 12:45pm

"Holy shit! Why did I wake up so late,oh I took sedatives yesterday, fuck!" I said.

I stretched my legs and arms and I  wore my slippers, I peeped through the window .The road was dry ,no high school students ,no school bus,   the street wasn't busy much, what I saw was  pedestrians.

I closed the curtain leaving my window open and turned to check my room it was a little messy.

I remembered yesterday's incident and I sighed  deeply, I tried to hold the  tears but I can't .I wiped my face with my bed sheet which I removed from the bed to the laundry, the laundry was full of dirty clothes.
I packed the clothes into the washing machine.

"Today seems like a day off for me" I said.

I went to the kitchen and I took a cup of tea, I took  the vacuum cleaner  and i cleaned my messy room .

Moments  later I went to check the washing machine, the clothes has been washed . I packed the clothes and I spread it on the line.

I went to the bathroom to take   my bath , as I was dressing my phone rings .

"Ooh mum's doctor"

I had to pick the call .

  Doctor:Good  afternoon miss bianca.

Bianca: hello doctor

Doctor :I called your phone severally  but you didn't pick up

Bianca: so sorry, I was busy

Doctor : ok miss bianca your mum really wanna see you and I want  you to pay her a visit

Bianca: ok doctor
Doctor : miss bianca the hospital bills haven't been pa..

she cuts  the phone without allowing the doctor to finish his last statement .

" Bills!  I know he still gonna talk  about bills ! Maybe he even called because of bills and  not because my mum wanna see me." I said in anger

I told my mum that I should take her to a government  hospital because I can't afford a private hospital, but she said she want a private hospital which I'm now struggling to pay the bills .

"Ugh!!mum with her difficult choices"I said.

I resumed  to my dressing, I opened my wardrobe and saw  a white round neck top. I put it on and I wore a blue ripped jean, I went to my shoe rack and I wore a white shoe.

I took my car keys and I went out,I checked the oil gauge  of my car," its  still high ,Thank goodness". I said in excitement.

I entered the car and  I caught a glance at my window and I remembered  it was left opened. I ran  back into the house to close my window and I went back into the car

I started the engine the fuel was still high,I was excited  and I drove away.

As I was driving I thought  about how I'm gonna  get a new job to  pay  mum's hospital  bills , the mortgage bills, electricity bills and house rent. I just kept wondering how much left in my bank account. I heaved a deep sigh "I just hope I'm gonna get a new job". I said to myself

I parked my car in the hospital car pack and I went in.

I entered the reception and I met the receptionist.

I told her that I wanna  see the doctor , she  collected my details and I was asked to sit down.

she called the doctor and few minutes later she told me to go to the doctor's office .
