The first look you will see is Adlaynn Cooper sitting in her bedroom staring out the window with a sad look because the breakup her and the one person she loved more than anything had a few hours before. Not by choice of course but they did and it broke both of the girls. Adlaynn didn't move until she was informed by a urgent call from Archie Andrews that he was at the hospital now as his father Fred Andrews was now in immediate surgery due to him being shot by a green eyed male at Pops Diner.

Betty and Adalynn rushed into the doors of the hospital along with their mother and father a few moments later wanting nothing more than to get to the Andrews men as quickly as possible. They where met half way down the hall way by Veronica who reached out and took Adlaynns hand in her's as Betty grabbed the other. Hermine followed not far after. Jughead now appeared as he looked at the three girls before turning his head to see Archie pacing around the waiting room phone in hand.

"Arch" Adlaynn said making him turn to them with watery eyes. Adalynn got to him before anyone else did as his arms went around her as the two sat there for a moment before the other three joined in as they all held the ginger boy who was broken and worried for his father's life. The group now sat down along with their parents by their side as Archie told them what had happened as he was still covered in his own father's blood.

"I came out the bathroom and there was this man, a theif. Wearing a hood, with this gun that he pointed at Pop Tat then at my dad and he fired." Archie paused.

"my god Archie" Veronica said sadly as she gave her boyfriend a sad look.

"And then he.." Archie trailed off as of he was reliving the moment.

"Then we what?" Adlaynn asked as she rubbed his back from her spot between him and Jughead as the other two girls sat across.

"Then he bolted. I was holding my dad. Pop called a ambulance and it didn't come so I drove here and ugh and I don't know maybe I should have waited, maybe I made it worse" Archie whimper as he looked down and ranted quickly.

"No dude are you kidding me. You saved his life. First Cheryl now your dad if you keep this up your gonna need a super hero name" Jughead grinned as he tried to lighten the mood. Adlaynn looked down with a frown at the mention of the Blossom girl witch Betty and Veronica noticed almost immediately but decided now was not the time to ask.

"Pure heart the powerful" Adalynn grinned as she looked up Archie to see if he liked the super hero name. The group buckled slightly.

"There isn't any new information. Your dad's in surgery, he's gonna be there for a while" Alice said as she gave the younger Andrews boy a sad look.

"Archie, have you spoken to your mother about any of this yet?" Hermine asked as she crouched down to look into the boys eyes as she noticed how he resembled his father by a lot.

"No I haven't called her" Archie sighed looking down as he felt bad for forgetting, "Be right back"

And with that he stood up and walked to a empty hallway to dial Mary Andrews phone as fast as he could.

Back in the waiting room Alice sighed before sending Jughead a look who was seated next to her brunette daughter.

"What?" Jughead asked innocently.

"Mom, do not start this" Betty scolded her

"Start what?" Jughead asked yet again innocently. Adlaynn rubbed his shoulder in a way to see if he would just drop it but knowing Jughead he would want the true and only the truth.
