The birthday song

The next day after they finished repairing Rarity's boutique, everyone was at the pool decorating for Pinkie Pie's birthday.

Rainbow Dash: "I still can't believe that we're actually celebrating Pinkie's birthday on a cruise."

Karai: "I can't believe it either."

Sunset Shimmer: "This is gonna be so exciting."

Rarity: "Sunset, can you help me and Raph with the banner?"

Sunset: "Sure."

As Sunset then helped them with setting the banner, Meadow looked around and saw that Mikey was missing somewhere.

Meadow: "Hey Guys, has anyone seen Mikey anywhere?"

Lotus: "No not really."

Zing: "I didn't either."

Twilight Sparkle: "Well he has to be here somewhere, we can't let him miss Pinkie's birthday."

Comet: "That's right, and I bet Pinkie won't like it either."

Fluttershy: "I'll go look for him."

So Fluttershy then went looking for Mikey and then saw him in his dorm writing something on his desk.

Fluttershy: "Mikey?"

Mikey then stopped writing and saw Fluttershy near his door.

Mikey: "Oh hi Fluttershy."

Fluttershy: "So what are you doing in your dorm? Pinkie is gonna come here in a few minutes."

Mikey: "What? Oh man, I still didn't finish my present for her."

Fluttershy: "Your present?"

Mikey: "Yeah, I've been working on it all day and I still didn't finish it."

Fluttershy: "Well, what is the present?"

Mikey: "It's just a song I was writing for her."

Fluttershy: "Really? That's amazing, can I see what you wrote so far?"

Mikey: "Yeah, I guess it wouldn't hurt just to show you."

She then looked at the song he wrote and was amazed by all the words and lyrics he wrote and that maybe it would be perfect for a birthday present.

Fluttershy: "Wow, "I love you too much"? Is this a song for to tell Pinkie how you feel?"

Mikey: "Well, Yeah, But it still isn't finished and I think that Pinkie Pie might not like it."

Fluttershy: "What are you talking about, I bet she will love it."

Mikey: "Yeah But, I just want it to be perfect for her and I don't think I can get this done in time."

Fluttershy then saw how much stress he's been having and felt bad for him and thought that maybe she can help him since she's good at writing songs.

Fluttershy: "I have an idea on how this can work."

Mikey: "You do?"

Fluttershy: "Of course, I can help you with the lyrics and to finish the song."

Mikey: "Really?"

Fluttershy: "I sure can, this song you wrote is sure to make Pinkie Pie smile."

Mikey: "Thanks Fluttershy."

So Mikey and Fluttershy then began to finish the song just in time for the party, and after everything was perfect, Pinkie Pie then went to the pool looking for everyone else.
