"Hi, I'm Harry!" said the amazingly handsome boy that had walked up in front of the class.

"I'm from Holmes Chapel, Chesire, England and..." I'm pretty sure my attention span became that of a fish.

All the girls were just staring at him as if he had come down from outer-space.

If that was the case, he was one sexy alien. Even Georgia-Rose was staring at him with wide eyes.

My heart was singing with joy and I siletly thanked Mr. P for making Harry my partner for the project.

I also silently thanked everyone for sitting far away from me, leaving an empty seat next to me.

I then realized that this was the only empty seat and my heart pounded in my chest when Harry started scanning the room for it.

I let my eyes fall on my binder and fumbled with my fingers.

My hands, they were sweaty and gross! Ah, I'm such a wreck!

"I feel soory for you, dude" a voice whispered.

When I looked up, I saw that the voice had come from Drake, and he was whispereing to a confused-looking Harry, who was making his way to the desk next to me.

Harry sat down and smiled at me. I smiled back, feeling excited and nauseous at the same time.

"Ahem! Charlotte?" Mr. P's voice stopped our little staring contest.

Oh, I diverted my eyes back to the front of the classroom, blushing as everyone hooted and broke into laughter.

Some kids even dramatically fell out of their desks, laughing, some called me names, and a classmate pulled my hair from behind me.

"Everyone, get back in your seats!" Mr. P scared everyone out of laughing.

There were a few snickers, but nothing else.

I looked down at my white pants. Why did I wear these today? They will just get ruined...

............

I tried to block out everything while I drew.

We were instructed to draw self-protraits of ourselves.

Today was Monday, the beggining of school.

This week, we would be drawing, next week, painting, and so on.

Some idiot had took paint out of the supply closet and brought it over to her friends.

"Sarah, put that back!" Mr. P said.

"Okay, Mr. P" Sarah responded, making her way back to the supply closet.

"Oh!" Sarah had almost tripped over one of the legs of my desk.

"Sorry!" I whospered. "It's okay!" she whispered back.

Sarah didn't seem so bad. She hadn't really joined the crowd in making fun of me, but she still wasn't my friend.

"Do you need help?" I said, getting up and picking up some of the paint she dropped.

Big mistake. "Charlotte?" another voice whispered.

It was Harry! He looked worried.

"Erm, you have something on the back of your skirt, are you hurt or..."

His voice trailed off as I looked at the back of my skirt and saw red staining it.

I looked back to notice that Sarah was gone and there was red paint all over my seat. She tricked me!

I quickly sat back in my seat and didn't budge until the end of class.

I still didn't budge until everyone had left to go to lunch and made a run for the office.

The hallways were a little crowded and some kids laughed at me.

Okay, all kids laughed at me. I can't believe Sarah did that to me!

"Charolette!" exclaimed a surprised school nurse.

"Mrs. Stevens, hi!" I responded. I had almost ran into her.

"Why the hurry?" She questioned.

"Uh, just going through the lost and found box" I replied, turning to the green bin next to me.

I grabbed a pair of black jeans, slipped them on, and headed out to the office.

I threw my ruined pants in the locker and trudged around, unsure if I should go to the cafeteria.

I then made up my mind when Harry passed by me, waved, and walked to the cafeteria.

Taking my lunch bag out of my locker, I followed him to the cafeteria.
