As soon as the bell rung for the next class to begin, I got up and started power-walking out of the boring class.

Finally! Art class! A class where I could be a star and express my inner self through my drawings.

I had gotten nothing but starlight A's in this class. The teacher has even hinted many times that I'm one of his favorite students.

I've also won many awards for my drawings and refuse to let anything get in my way when it comes to drawing.

"Charlotte!" Mr. P said. Yup, I was the first student here! Why? Because no one else was as serious about art as I am.

"Hi, Mr. P" I said back. I decided to help set up the art room before everyone showed up.

The chairs were all over the place and Mr. P had to hang a few pieces of artwork outside his class. Most of these papers were mine.

I smiled to myself as I put up the pictures. "Hey!" a voice called out from behind me.

I turned around to come face to face with the most sexiest boy in my art class, Drake.

He was with two other boys and they were actually talking to... Me?

Eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeek! Maybe I do have a secret admirer after all?

And it's the hottest guy in mankind! Take that, Georgia-Rose!

"Nice top" he smirked. I blushed, not knowing how to response.

"Muffin top" he said.

I looked up at him, confused, while his friends burst out laughing and high-fived him.

They just turned and left. Left me like that.

I dusted off my shirt free of some rusty paint that had fallen on it and realized what they meant.

That wasn't even funny and was actually a pretty lame joke, but it still affected me nonetheless.

I was wearing one of my favorite, blue shirts that had a word on it... Two words actually: Muffin Top.

I put up the rest of the pictures and trudged in the classroom feeling glum once again.

To make things worse, Georgia-Rose was in my art class and I couldn't tell her that Drake is my new boyfriend.

I couldn't rub anything in her face while she is making my life worse.

"Charolette, I have some good news!" Mr. P clapped his hands together.

He lowered his voice, even though no one showed up to class yet, and said, "We have a new student in our art class and the student seems to share the same love for art as you"

"Is it okay if this student is your partner for the Art Collaboration Project?"

I nodded and smiled politely.

He knew I never really worked with anyone on projects. No one wanted me around them.

The only problem is that I don't know if this student will even want me around them after their first day of school.

"Thank you, you are the best!" He smiled back and stepped behind the desk as the late bell rung.

A tornado of kids swarmed through the door...

Some kids conjuring up excuses for their absence, others not caring, and some (Georgia-Rose and sidekicks) pointing at me and laughing.

Ugh, Mr. P knew he wasn't partnering me up with the new kid for their sake!

He was doing this because it has been made obvious that no one else would like me as a partner.

I didn't even know if this new student is a boy or a girl!

I don't know if he/she will even be enthusiastic about being my partner!

"Everyone, please, kindly welcome our new student!" Mr. P began. Here goes...
