I stand by the air lock thinking. I here footsteps behind me. Shit . I wasn't paying attention to my surroundings. Now someone's gonna catch my staring off into the dark space. "Lance what are you doing in front of the airlock" of course it had to be Keith that found me. "I'm just thinking Keith " I speak quickly trying to get out of there as fast as possible. I start walking toward the hallway. But he blocks my path. "You didn't answer my question. You were really quiet during breakfast. I'm worried." He speaks quietly but with an edge that sends shivers down my spine. "I answered your question! But honestly... not that you care... I was thinking about letting go. Giving up. Everyone here thinks I'm so dumb. But honestly I graduated high school when I was 15. Got into the second most prestigious school in the world. I'm done with this worlds lies."

Keith just stands there in shock. I take the opportunity to push past him. "Lance wa-"he starts I finish "save it keith" I continue to my room. Shit. I just spilled everything. I hear a knock at my door."come in"I call out. Keith slowly makes his way to my bed and cautiously sits down. "Lance I didn't know I'm ... sorry for being such a dick to you. You didn't deserve it." When I don't say anything he continues. "I really like you lance...it's okay if you don't feel the same." I turn towards Keith and push my lips against his. I pull back " is that okay?" I ask softly. In response he pulls me in for another kiss.
