I swung from roof to roof, wind in my hair. I was ready.

My boyfriend ran next to me, jumping from roof to roof, smiling like a little kid that got a new toy. I knew the smile was forced and fake, I mean, who smiles when going to fight their Father?

When we arrived at the house *cough* Mansion!*cough* we clambered back into his bedroom window.

And then we fought Hawk Moth and won.

And We Lived Happily Ever After With Korgan And Their 43 Kids.

 What really happened:

We barged in to the room, our plan formulated.

We succeeded in the plan (a.k.a: I'm too lazy to tell you what really happened).

We grabbed Hawk Moth and tied him to a chair.

 We grabbed his Miraculous.

And Mr. Agreste got really mad and grounded Adrien...

"But, Mr. Agreste, sir, you can't just ground Adrien!" I growled at him. He looked away.

"You, Ladybug, wouldn't know anything about anything about discipline. You just run willy nilly, and look at you, you don't even have the money my boy would need if you were to be his girlfriend. Marinette Dupain-Cheng, if I ever see you go near this boy again I will-"

"Father!" Adrien cut in, rifling through his bag. He pulled out my sketch book. "Look, she's talented! She can design stuff, she is creative, she likes to make stuff! Don't ban me from her, please!"

Gabriel Agreste was looking through my sketch book... Oh My Greek Gods! In my brain my mind was like a bomb, ticking away, hoping that it wouldn't go off.

"Hmm, young lady, it looks as though I spoke too fast. Do you like making designs?" I nodded.

"Yes, sir, those are some I made up in my free time while looking around town for inspiration." I said, and he nodded, a smile spreading across his face.

"These are pretty good Ms. Dupain-Cheng." he looked up at me, curiosity written all over him. "Would you like to become one of my fashion designers? It would be... a trial to see how well your designs go, and if they sell well, you have my permission to date my son."

I nodded. "Thank you sir, I will take your offer, but not lightly, I will not disappoint you."

He smiled at me, a real smile, and said. "Marinette, maybe I was wrong, I think you will turn out to be an excellent fashion designer, and a fitting girlfriend for my son... if you'll have him that is?"

"Yes, sir, I would be most pleased. Thank you... and sir?"

"What is it?"

"I think I have someone you need to meet."

*(A few minutes later at Master Fu's door)*

"Hello? Master Fu? It's me, Marinette, I brought someone to see you."

The door opened, and Master Fu stood in it's place.

"Please come inside, I think me and your guest need to have a talk."

 *A few moments later...*

"So, you are Hawk Moth?" Master Fu asked, curious.

"Yes, Master," replied Gabriel Agreste, nodding. "I only now realize how much of a threat I have been... you see, I was just trying to get my wife back." he looked down, obviously angry with himself.

"When me and my wife were adventuring, we found these two Miraculous', the Butterfly and the Peacock, and a book full of different recipes. We decided it would be fun to try them out... it didn't go as planned, and after two hard days of suffering from an injury my wife died." Adrien stifled a cry, trying not to show how much his mother meant to him. "I couldn't stand the thought of my wife as dead, i had to bring her back. I still had the Miraculous' so I used it for evil, what i thought was good, so that I could gain the ultimate powers so I could bring my beloved back... and here we are."

Mr. Agreste looked heartbroken, as one should when they talk about their dead loved ones.

"I'm sorry this all happened to you, Gabriel, but it was a good learning experience... no one can bring back the dead." Master Fu patted Gabriel's shoulder and walked out of the room.

"Well," I said, trying to sound nice. "I guess that conversation is done!"

I walked out of the room, dragging Adrien in tow.

 *A few days later*

In school it was bustling, news of Hawk Moth's defeat was still falling on eager ears. Oh, and Mr. Agreste has given me permission to date Adrien!

"Morning, bugaboo!" Adrien came up behind me, smiling.

"Morning, kitty." I replied, kissing him on the lips.

Together we walked into class, sitting in different rows, with our best friends. Alya nudged me once I sat down.

"So, have you heard the news? Ladybug and Chat Noir defeated Hawk Moth! Oh, and you'll never guess Hawk Moth's secret identity, he's Gabriel Agreste!" Alya was practically bouncing in her seat. "Apparently he realized his mistakes and was let off the hook by Ladybug and Chat Noir... kinda an interesting story."

I nodded, trying to make out what she was saying through all my whirling thoughts.

"So, Alya, you know the superheroes, Rena Rouge, and Carapace?" she nods, smiling because she is one. "I wonder what their secret identities are, don't you?"

She nodded. "Yeah, they seem pretty cool, especially Carapace with his shield powers... Rena Rouge isn't that great though, you know?"

I smiled, yup, she was the perfect person to play superhero, she doesn't think she's the best, but still enjoys it.

"Nay, I would like to differ, I think Rena Rouge is awesome, with the flute and the illusion powers! She might be my favourite, maybe over Ladybug." I state, letting her know that I think highly of her.

She laughs. "No one can be better than Ladybug!"
