Loneliness.

That's all I feel right now. Ever since I cut Camila out of my life, she's all I think about. She made me feel so happy by just saying the cutest things that she thought made her sound dumb but they didn't.

I'm getting ready for homecoming and dean is going to pick me up at any moment so I'm being really quick right now.

All of a sudden I hear a knock at my door so I tell them to enter, and I see my mom.

"Hey sweethea-..." my mom starts saying but stops and looks at me.

"Something wrong mother?" I ask raising my eyebrow.

"Oh no. You just look so beautiful sweetie" she says smiling and then coming over giving me a kiss on the cheek.

"Thanks mother" I say with a small smile.

I'm just wearing a blue dress my grandmother made for me awhile back and I finally decided to wear it.

"Something wrong dear?" She asks. I shake my head and look in the mirror.

"Y/n I can tell when something is wrong so no need for lying in this house" she says putting her hands on her hips.

"Why do we have to love?"

My mom looked a taken back but responded.

"Excuse me?" She asks putting her hands down.

"Why do we have to love someone?" I ask again. I go and sit down on my bed and rest my chin on my hands.

"Well that's just something that just happens. Human nature." My mother says

"Exactly why. Love is so overrated. All you ever do is end up really hurt. You think in the beginning it's amazing and your happy but wait until the end of it ."

I say but continue on

"I wish I just couldn't fall in love with anyone." I finally finish.

I look up and see my mom with wide eyes looking at me but then she gets a hold of herself.

I give her a small smile and then we hear the doorbell ring. Great dean is here.

I start walking out of my room but stop and turn around to see me Mom standing still.

"Mom you coming?" I ask

"Oh right" she says

She finally goes back to normal and starts to walk out to.

I guess I freaked out my mom.

-

Me and dean just got to the school from my house after finally getting away from my parents. They took like a hundred photos.

I'm holding on to deans arm as we're walking in to see our fellow classmates dancing to the live band playing.

Dean leads us to a table of his friends which should be a blast with how boring they are.

-

It's been half an hour and all I'm doing sitting, drinking punch, and listening to dean and his baseball buddies talk about baseball. Shocker.
