Clockwork

Every day is like clockwork, I wake up, take a shower, stream for 5 hours, film my podcast, edit some videos, have dinner, and got to sleep. Maybe once in a while, I get to take my girlfriend Valerie out on a date. She is the best I don't even know how she puts up with my life, I can't even put up with my life. It's just her and I but we find a way to make it work. You see money isn't the issue, I make enough money for both of us. It's happiness that we struggle with, we never really have time for each other. She makes music and I stream. We both do not really have lives outside of our jobs. We both work from home and barely go out but we still barely see each other. All we talk about is maybe someday taking a break from work to just relax but it never happens. You see we've gotten so into our routines it is scary trying to do anything else.

I finally get out of my head and get out of the shower. I need to get some work done. After drying off and getting dressed I pull out my phone to tweet that I'm going live on twitch soon. Turning on my phone I see a text message from my brother Fed.

Beastybroboi: Hey sis I know that you haven't gone out in a while. So come over and hang out with me and my friends, no streaming today you are taking the day off. You have no choice. If you aren't here in 30 minutes i will come over and set you're house on fire.

So I reply

Bitchybafoon: First off you used the wrong your, second you suck but fine ill be there soon XD

I didn't want to argue bc honesty I would have lost and I did not want to waste my time. So I go downstairs and see Valerie cooking breakfast.

" Hey babe, I'm going to Fed's house do you want to come?"

" No thanks I am not really feeling too good right now. "

"Awww Val, what's wrong?"I reach over to comfort her.

" Nothing much I am just gonna stay home and eat some ice cream for a while if I feel better later I will make sure to come. okay?" Her voice gets a little shakey.

" Are you sure babe? I could stay here with you"

"No baby go and have fun, I will be fine," She says looking at me with a half smile.

"Okay, If you say so"

I lean over the counter and giver her a kiss before grabbing my keys and leaving.

After arriving in Fed driveway I text him to let him know I am here. He reads my message and says

"Sorry I am pooping right now cant let you in but I will send my friend to get you"

I roll my eyes and get out the car. When I get to the front door as soon as I knock a girl opens the door.

"Hi, I am Imane nice to meet you." She reaches out her hand to shake mine.

"Well Imane I am Ruby, Feds sister," I say as I shake her hand.

"Yes, I know Fed has talked about you a lot."

"wow really, that's interesting, all good things I hope," I said scratching my head in awkwardness. " so, can I come in or...."

" Oh, yes I'm so sorry, please come in" She moves out the way just enough so I can get inside. I slipped past her and she closes the door behind me. I look around and I see a cute little pomeranian run around the corner wagging its tail.

"Hi, aren't you a cutey" talking to it in a baby voice. "Aww what is your name"

" Temmie" Imane says behind me.

"aww Temmie what a cute name" I pet Temmie until I realized that she got so excited she had peed herself.

"Oh, I am so sorry I didn't mean to make her pee herself" I panicked looking around for paper towels. I found some and started to clean up her pee.
