why are you doing this?
quit playing with my heart.

"Jungkook." I breathed out as soon as my eyes snapped open.

Breathing heavily, I lifted myself up to a sitting position. The corners of my lips curved upwards when the events of the night before began trickling back into my memories.

That hug still managed to warm my heart.

Through the sudden flow of events, was the mixed emotions and confused feelings. The way his doe-like eyes, usually empty, gazed into mine last night was something utterly profound and brand new.

I had thought that those eyes had already given up on all emotion.

Something in me burst into a timid but intense fire when he proved me wrong.

The feeling slowly spread itself inside, running into my veins, crawling its way into my brain, holding it as hostage and refusing to let my mind work properly. While it also reached my heart, stopping its rhythm and completely blinding it with one emotion.

And it scares me so much that I haven't felt those feelings before.

But, it's disheartening that I know what they mean.

Shaking those thoughts away, I eventually push-drag-myself off the firm mattress and navigated my way around the bedroom.

My footsteps were unbalanced and almost unsteady as I stumbled to my unopened luggage bag. Nearly tripping over the black wheels, I let out a sluggish groan as my hand moved quicker than my sleepy mind and reached out to the wall, supporting myself from falling backwards.

An all too familiar melody rang faintly in the distance, as loud, thumping footsteps started to become audible. Indistinct chatter was also heard as many would supposedly return to their dorms and head down to the cafeteria for lunch.

Wait.

Lunch?!

"Holy shit!" I cursed while bending down and flipping over the luggage flap, grabbing and putting on the first garments I could find.

Slipping my sneakers on hastily, I jogged hurriedly out of Jungkook's-well, my-room, slamming the door behind me.

Scanning my eyes through the bustling sea of students in search of certain someone, my banana milk shifted slightly from left to right as I tiptoe to look over a tall guy's shoulder.

Whilst I attempt to keep my tray balanced so that my precious lunch won't go flying out, I fought a smile from growing once I caught sight of a stupidly-absurdly-insanely-charming coconut head.

I couldn't help it.

I cracked a smile.

Placing my tray gently down beside him, my heart started racing and my brain decided to completely shut down just when I began to contemplate what to say to him first.
