Varian POV
I was leading Jade into the forest trying to find a safe place to hide and set up camp. As we were walking, I couldn't stop thinking about how much trouble and pain I've caused Jade over this year.
" jade I don't know how I can ever thank you for setting me free. I'm so sorry I left you alone" I say sincerely
" Varian, I'm not ready to have this conversation yet, can we talk about this tomorrow?" She asked exhausted
" yeah of corse, you must of had a really long day" I reply, grabbing her hand

Jade POV
I wake up dreading the conversation I still need to have with Varian
" morning sleeping beauty" an upbeat voice said
" morning Varian" I reply, stretching
" hey, if your feeling up to it, I was thinking now would be a good time to talk about everything" he said, solemnly
" well there's not going to be a better time than now " I reply, grumpily
" I'm sorry that I put you through hell. Thank you for saving me even after I broke your trust and our friendship"
" I don't really know how to feel about all this, I need some time to clear my head and get my bearings" I tell him about to walk away
I continue walking away without another word.
