A/N: Let's say that you and Fubuki are adults, ok?

You could see a little light peaking from under the blind fold, but it gave you absolutely no clue as to wear you were going. You could smell water and fresh air, though, and hear the sound of birds. "Where are you taking me, Fubuki-kun?" you asked, holding your hands out as you walked forward.

Fubuki had his hands on your hips, guiding you forward. "I told you it's a secret." His breath was right next to your ear, tickling you. "It's just a little farther now."

"But I want to know now," you pouted, trying to sound as cute as possible.

"Too bad," Fubuki said, refusing to give in. "I'm in charge today."

"But it's my birthday," you tried to reason. "Shouldn't that mean I'm in charge?"

"Nope," he said simply. "I'm in charge of making your day great, so you have to listen to me."

"You're loving this, aren't you?" When you had first met Fubuki , he seemed like the cool guy kind, not really caring and just laid back. That was perfect for you at the time, because you hadn't been looking for anything serious, just something fun. It had been like that at first, very casual and limited emotions, but then Fubuki had started to surprise you.

It had started with a rose. Usually after having late night sex trips, one of you would disappear in the middle of the night, which was perfectly fine. Then one morning you woke up to a rose on the bed, instead of Fubuki , and a note that read, "Good morning beautiful. Breakfast is ready whenever you wake up." Sure enough you found breakfast and Fubuki at the table waiting for you. It had surprised you, but that was definitely the moment that sparked something in your heart.

He had done little things for you ever since then, and before you knew it, you were in love with a sweet and caring guy who would do anything for you, and you were happier than you had ever been. It definitely wasn't what you had been searching for when you had met Fubuki , but it only made you feel lucky that you had found him in the first place.

"Of course I am," Fubuki said, steadying you when you tripped over a rock. "Because I know you're going crazy."

"Are we almost there?" you asked. "We've been walking for forever."

"We've been walking for ten minutes," Fubuki corrected, and you could practically feel his smile shining on you.

"Please just tell me." You knew Fubuki wasn't going to give in. He could be stubborn when he wanted to be, but you thought that maybe if you pestered him enough, he'd give in. At the very least, you knew it annoyed him.

"Just wait sixty more seconds." You could hear the slight agitation in his voice, but you he wasn't seriously mad.

"But that's so long!" You ended up giggling, too amused whenever you tortured him back. It was your personal form of revenge for him making you get blind folded for an hour, including the car ride over.

"You're too impatient." He stopped moving you forward. "All right, all right. We're here, so you can stop complaining now." His fingers messed with the knot of the blind fold, and then he pulled it off your eyes.

You opened your eyes and saw a glittering lake in front of you. The sun was low, making the water glimmer even more, and the sight was beautiful. In front of you, there was a single duck boat. "Wow," you whispered.

"I figure we could spend the evening on the water, paddling around, and then share a picnic together." Fubuki wrapped his arms around your waist pulling you in close to him, and his silky voice flowed into your ear. "What do you think?"

A soft smile filled your face. "It's perfect."

"Good." Fubuki kissed your cheek, grabbed your hand, and then led you onto the duck boat. He placed the picnic basket behind the seats, and the two of you started paddling into the middle of the lake. It wasn't long before the sun sank behind the mountains, and golden rays shot into the sky. Quickly, oranges and reds mixed together, painting the sky with warm colors. You had seen plenty of sunsets before, but none of them were quite this beautiful.

Fubuki  stopped paddling, letting the boat drift off on its own as the two of you watched the sunset together. You leaned your head on his shoulder and placed your hand on his thigh. "This is just wonderful. I can't believe you planned all of this."

"Well, I did have a little help," Fubuki admitted sheepishly. "I wanted tonight to be perfect, because you're perfect. Happy birthday, baby."

You snuggling into him even more, taking in his scent with a smile etched into your heart. "I don't see how this moment could be any more perfect."

"Let's try," Fubuki whispered, and then he slipped something cool onto your finger.

Your heart beat faster as you sat up, looking at your left hand. Fubuki had slipped a thin, silver band around your ring finger with gem the color of your birthstone on it. "Fubuki ," you muttered, completely shocked.

He turned towards you, looking directly into your eyes. He smiled, making his eyes disappear, and you could tell he was nervous. "Y/N, I know this wasn't very serious when we first started seeing each other, but somehow you've made me fall deeper and deeper in love with you every single day I've known you. I can't imagine my life without you, so I was wondering if you would do me the honor of being my wife."

Tears spilled out of your eyes. "Yes, of course, yes!" You threw your arms around his neck, kissing him deeply and rocking the boat a little. You hadn't expected this at all, but you had known your answer before he even asked.

After a heated kiss, Fubuki pressed his forehead against yours. "I love you so much."

"I love you, too," you whispered, crying again. "I can't wait to be forever yours."
