Chapter 11

Adil's home

Arhaan entered to home to find hustle and bustle in the home and some people even crying .. he spotted aqib and went there . as soon as he went aqib dragged Arhaan to a corner.

"what do you think of yourself Arhaan ?! Do you have a sense of responsibility in you ?! Shaiza is your wife isn't she ?! then how come you don't know her dad's home address?" Aqib scolded Arhaan continuously to which Arhaan frowned.

"Dad i already told you that I'm not interested in Shaiza then why are you expecting me to know about her? Now tell me why have you called me here and why are people gathered here?" Arhaan asked calmly.

" You don't want to leave that Sameera right ?! Shaiza's dad is no more Arhaan. You are not interested in her but she is ..she asked us to wait for her dad's burial until you arrive but you are ignoring that type of girl" Aqib said shocking Arhaan.

"Dad I'm sorry i know its my fault . I should have treated her as my friend . I'm feeling guilty now .I left her alone ..Why didn't anyone inform me about this dad " Arhaan asked in a low voice.

"Don't ask sorry to me . Ask sorry to Shaiza and didn't inform? we tried calling you numerous times Arhaan and you blamed Shaiza for irresponsiveness? despite her sorrow she asked us to wait for you because that girl don't have anyone as her family and it is after us the neighbours started coming one by one "aqib explained the situation to Arhaan who felt guilty for not being able to answer the calls.

Arhaan went inside Shaiza's room to see her crying lying on his mother's lap . Arhaan saw Shifa consoling Shaiza.

"Bhabhi at least have this juice you haven't eaten anything from morning" shifa was trying to feed something to Shaiza which she failed as Shaiza was sobbing and she was looking very pale. Arhaan felt bad on seeing her.

"Shaiza" Arhaan called softly and went forward . He made her sit from his mothers lap .

"I'm sorry Shaiza"Arhaan apologised with guilt . As soon as he apologised Shaiza hugged him .Arhaan became shocked but hugged her back and consoled her.

"From morning everyone tried to console me even my in-laws consoled me even though Arhaan didn't came from morning but I'm feeling secure in his embrace .After dad i feel comfortable with Arhaan" Shaiza thought and started crying more.

Arhaan consoled Shaiza and wiped her tears . He feeds Shaiza and took care of her until she slept.

Arhaan made her feel secure and he took great care of her in every step.

Days went like this Arhaan took care of Shaiza and she was able to overcome her trauma it was now one month to adil's death . Arhaan started caring for Shaiza more and they both understood each other well. Shaiza started admiring Arhaan more as he made sure to make smile cracking small jokes and sharing about his daily life.

Shaiza started involving in cooking and would cook for Arhaan . Arhaan started commenting on her cooking skills and would encourage her to try new recipes and Shaiza would also cook new dishes as Arhaan has asked her to cook.

Days went like this and it was rainy season again

One certain day .Arhaan was getting ready to the office when Shaiza is sipping her coffee standing in the balcony admiring the monsoon.

Shaiza finished her coffee and returned to the room.

"Thank god you arrived at correct time now help me tie this tie"Arhaan said having tie in his hand .Shaiza in a good mood accepted and went to tie the tie.

Shaiza started admiring Arhaan . He was looking handsome and the weather was giving her romantic feels . Not being able to control Shaiza kissed Arhaan on his cheeks. Arhaan was shocked and pushed Shaiza.

"what you did just now"Arhaan asked shocked and glanced Shaiza angrily

"I'm sorry Arhaan but I'm not guilty for what i did because I have rights on you"Shaiza said in an authoritatively

*SLAP*

The sound echoed in the room

"you know what its my fault that i gave you space..i should have shown you your limits.. you girls always take advantage of these types of situations . It's not your fault its my parents fault that they didn't understood me and married me to you"Arhaan spoke not realising that his words were pricking Shaiza's heart like a sword and Arhaan left from there angrily.

Shaiza was feeling very much hurted and thought that was she taking advantage of Arhaan . Can't I use my rights as wife ..I took advantage that left my emotions to overflow ..Shaiza thought and went to balcony and feeling the rain sitting in the couch with saddened heart she started to cry with every drops of rain...

Arhaan went to his parents house with the car . He entered the house to see his parents enjoying breakfast with Shifa.

"Arhaan what an pleasent surprise after a long time" shehnaz exclaimed happily and welcomed Arhaan.

"What long time .. here my whole life is spoiled . listening to you guys I married her but Shaiza isn't worth it ...she took advantage of me i think i should have shown her limits but I was wrong . Dad you only asked her to treat her as my friend but today she crossed her limits"Arhaan removed his frustration in a go.

shifa glanced her brother with anger

"I havent slapped anyone in my lifetime but today i slapped her and I'm not even feeling guilty because she deserved it" said Arhaan shocking everyone . A plate fell down from shehnaz's hands in shock.

"Did you slapped Shaiza???" Shehnaz asked with disgust.

"yes" Arhaan accepted without any guilt

"But why?" shifa who was silent until now asked

"Because she dared to kiss me"Arhaan said and frowned

*SLAP*
