Chapter 10

Next day

Arhaan was excited for his first day in office .. he was getting ready and Shaiza was happy that he was going to start a new page in his life . Arhaan was ready but something was missing . He realised he has not tied a tie . Taking a tie he tried tying it but failed to do so.

"I can't do it better than you so you tie it and moreover it is my first day in office i don't want to look bad" Arhaan glanced Shaiza and gave the tie to her which she happily accepted.

Shaiza happily started tieing the tie . She felt as if her every wish was completed .

"I will be coming back late today as i will have lots of work to do" Arhaan said and was about to leave when Shaiza stopped him and went somewhere.

Shaiza came back with a tiffin box in her hand.

"You will never change no matter how much ever i tell you" Arhaan said watching the tiffin box in her hand.

"You change yourself and try my handmade food"Shaiza said and gave it to Arhaan.

"That's what i have to do moreover i cannot waste food" Arhaan said and took the tiffin box with him.

Days went like this Arhaan was busy in office works and would return late night everyday . Shaiza without fail would send him tiffin box daily . Arhaan was so busy that he never got time to speak with Shaiza properly . he would ignore her . Shaiza thinking that he is busy didn't disturb him.

"why haven't you completed your lunch Arhaan" one day on seeing his lunch box full Shaiza asked politely.

"That's none of your business . I think I gave you much space that's why you are asking with whole rights . Listen I talk to you only because you live with me not because you are my wife ..I can never accept you as my WIFE" Arhaan yelled and went outside the room leaving a saddened Shaiza behind.

"He was understanding me well then what happened to him?" Shaiza thought worryingly.

Next day

It was an usual day for Shaiza with Arhaan leaving for office early . Shaiza was doing some cleaning . she used to work herself to kill boredom . her phone rang showing her father's home landline number.

"Assalamualaikum dad" Shaiza greeted on picking up the call

"walaikumassalam beta ..I'm rahman speaking .sir is not opening his room door from morning .I'm worried as he an usual early riser" Worried rahman (old and loyal servant of Shaiza's dad) spoke

"OK rahman uncle i will reach there as soon as possible" saying so Shaiza picked up some essential things and went to her dad's house.

Adil's (Shaiza's dad) house

Shaiza reached there and started knocking on Adil's room door . She got no response. she opened the room door using the spare keys she had.

Shaiza was greeted by pin drop silence inside the room and found Adil in the bed . It appeared as if he was sleeping . Shaiza went forward to wake Adil only to find him holding his chest and his breathings stopped and pulse down.

"Dad"Shaiza yelled and cried her heart out on finding her dad dead .servants gathered and consoled her and immediately called her in-laws as Shaiza had no close relatives and her in-laws arrived immediately.

Aqib, Shehnaz and shifa were consoling Shaiza ..shehnaz felt bad for the Shaiza who had to lose her parents .

on the other hand aqib and shifa tried calling Arhaan numerous times but his phone was switched off .Actually Arhaan had an important meeting with MultiNational company that day and was busy in it and switched off his phone.

Shaiza was crying uncontrollably but she also asked everyone to wait for Arhaan but it was past ten and the body had to be buried now and they couldn't wait for Arhaan.

Arhaan's home

Arhaan became angry on seeing the house locked . He thought Shaiza will not go anywhere that's why he didnt took spare keys also . Finding no other way out he switched on his phone to call his dad but became worried on seeing numerous calls from aqib and shifa. he called back immediately.

"Assalamualaikum dad" Arhaan greeted his dad as soon as the phone was picked up

"walaikumassalam Arhaan . where are you ?! do you have some responsibility ?!how many times i had to call you" aqib scolded Arhaan on the phone

"Dad calm down . I was in a meeting so i didn't pick your calls you are calling me irresponsible but your bahu(daughter in law) is missing from the home and it is locked and she haven't returned though it is late night" Arhaan explained himself and blamed Shaiza in return

"you cannot blame Shaiza without knowing anything now immediately come to home"aqib said realising that Arhaan didn't knew about adil's death

"OK i will" Arhaan said and was about to cut the call when aqib interrupted

"Not our home but come to Shaiza's dad home" aqib said to which Arhaan became confused

"Give me the address dad" Arhaan asked shocking aqib

"You don't know the address Arhaan ?" aqib asked shocked and gave Arhaan address of Shaiza's home as it of no use to scold him again over the phone.

So, how was the chapter? I didn't elaborate and write scenes. I just simply writing bcoz it is my first story so I don't want to make bore by elaborating things.
