Again he couldn't sleep.

But this time it wasn't because he knew he probably lost the best thing to ever happen to him, but because he told her he loved her.

He wasn't sure if she heard him, but it didn't matter because admitting it out loud had opened a can of worms in his brain.

He really was in love with this girl.

Alex walked into his bedroom and casually threw himself on his bed letting out a loud sigh of relief. " What's up man?"

Though S'bu knew that Alex had experience with relationships that involved feelings, he was hesitant to talk to his best friend about his own conflicted feelings towards the brown eyed beauty that wouldn't leave his mind.

"Man , I...I think I am in love" The wide eyed reaction from Alex was enough to make S'bu skittish and cause him to sweat.

"You think or you are?, there's a difference dude" And this is why he didn't want to talk Alex or anyone for that matter about his feelings. " I am sure I am in love man, I just don't know what to do with all these fucking feelings I feel, especially around her"

Alex chuckled while shaking his head although S'bu struggled to find the humour in this situation.

"That's what love is all about man, you can't control how you feel you just have to let how you feel control you" That answer earned an eye roll from S'bu who leaned back against his bed and stared at the ceiling.

His mind wandered once more to Helen, and he unconsciously smiled widely. He could almost smell her intoxicating scent in his room, feel her soft plumb lips against and his and hear her soft mewls of pleasure.

Damn.

"Damn you really  are in love" Alex mirrored his position on the bed and also stared at the ceiling, both of them with wide smiles on their lips.

This moment of happiness only lasted a few minutes because S'bu's phone vibrated in his pocket alerting him of a text message.

Grand gala tomorrow night, be there or else

Sbusiso glared at his phone so hard he was sure the screen would crack from how heated the glare was. David had balls he would give him that.

After making it so clear that he wanted nothing to do with him, he still tried to act all fatherly towards him. Making empty threats to make sure he would do whatever he asked.

It was all a facade , to fool his business partners and the world into thinking that he was a good father to his son. A son he had wanted nothing to do with.

He ran his hand over his face chuckling when he realised Alex was snoring beside him. He shoved him a little so he could wake up but was interrupted mid-shove by a response from David.

Bring that pretty little girlfriend of yours, you wouldn't want something  bad to happen to her.

"Wait, he said he loves you?"

Jess asked with wide eyes while licking her spoon clean of the last scoop of ice cream. " Yes, No , I dunno Jess...I think it might have just been a figment of my imagination "

"And why would you imagine him saying that to you Helen, unless...Oh...." Jessica jumped from her bed and stood in front of Helen with her hand to her chest and an 'aw' look on her face.

"You love him don't you?"

Helen blushed and averted her eyes from her best friend. It was too soon for her to love him but God the way he made her feel, even from one simple look he drove her crazy.

"Yes" She merely whispered her answer almost as if it was top secret that no one else was to know.

"Oh my God Helen, you're in love... Maybe you'll even be able to tame the fuckboy, if you haven't already " Again she blushed and averted her eyes.

"Shut up and go to sleep ,you have an early class tomorrow Jess" She threw her best friend from in front of her and got under her covers.

She longed for Sbusiso's presence.

To feel him sleeping beside her in her bed, his scent enveloping her like a hug, his kisses.

Every cell in her body longed for Sbusiso and she couldn't control it. She closed her eyes tightly ,trying to rid herself of the images of him naked, beside her after long hot sex.

She clenched her thighs together and rolled over to the other side praying that she would fall asleep soon and stop thinking about Sbusiso.

I know this chapter is shorter than the others but ...I am back guys.

I actually added the book to my library and read it from the beginning and I just got super inspired to write it soooo....

It's no longer on hold...
