6: Mated

(Rosetta and EJ are now physically 16)

   Rosetta's POV
  
        "What is it Luv?" Klaus asked me. I looked at my brother. Should we tell them? I asked him in our minds. He nodded. "Please do tell me, we are family now."
        Why must we ruin everything? Everything we touch turns to ash. I thought to myself. "Its not your fault. You didn't mean for this to happen." They all looked at him confused.
         "What is happening?" Elijah asks. "You are a part of this family now, and we tell family all." We nod. Let's get this over with. I say.
        "Please don't hate us." I plead.
        "Never. You are a part of this family now. And this family sticks together. No matter what one of us does." Rebekah stated firmly. I nod, taking that into consideration.
        "My brother and I are mated to two members of your family." I say. They all look amongst themselves. "Kol, you're my mate. We know by using one of our powers. We can see the relationship between two people."
        "Rebekah, you're my mate. There is a difference between when we use our powers to make to people mates and when they are our forever mate. When we make people mates they can grow apart. Forever mates may grow apart, but they always find their way back to each other." My brother told them.
       "You two are our forever mates." I state. "Do you hate us yet?" I asked them with my eyes closed. Then I realized that someone had their arm around my waist. I looked up expecting my brother. Correction, my biological brother. But instead of EJ I saw Kol. He was smirking.
       I heard Klaus growling, but I couldn't focus on that. All I saw was Kol. And his lips. And his... Sister! Have a little dignity. Please! EJ said in my mind.But I wasn't hearing him either. He stared deep into my eyes. He leaned forward. Then out of no where Klaus had him pinned on the wall across the room.
       "She is 15! For the love of all that is holy! At least wait until she looks 17 PHYSICALLY! And if you don't, I always have a dagger on hand." He spat at Kol.
         "Stop...Please. I'm sorry. This is all my fault." I whispered, forgetting they were vampires.
        "None of this is your fault, Luv. I'm just highly protective of you...Already." Klaus finished. I just nodded. Kol looked at me apologetically. I gave him a somber smile.
        "Where will I be sleeping? I wish to go to my room." I asked them.
        "I'll show you." Rebekah volunteered. She showed me to my room. She said that EJ would be shown his room as well. But he wishes to talk to them while I rest. I nod.
        I watched her walk away, but she stopped in the door way and looked back. "None of this is was your fault Rosetta." She told me with a smile. I smiled back. I would get along with her, I could feel it.
         "Rosie." I told her. She looked confused. "You can call me Rosie. I only let people I trust call me that. I trust you." We shared a smile, then she left.
         I listened in on their conversation. And heard Klaus talking. "Rebekah, the same rules apply to you. You must wait at least until he looks 17."
         "Of course." Rebekah said. Then I heard Kol talking.
         "Will we be able to be physically intimate with them at 17?" Kol asked.
        Klaus growled, then eventually said, "That is up to them what they choose to do." It got really quiet, so I ended up falling asleep.
         I woke up to some one walking in the middle of the night. I looked at my alarm clock and saw it was 12:27. I got out of bed to see who it was.
         I get down the stairs to see Kol. "Kol? Are you ok?" I ask him. He turns around stumbling. "Are you drunk?" I ask. Obviously he's drunk. I think to myself.
         I vampire sped him up the stairs. But instead of going to his room he went to mine. And sat down on the bed. He started taking his clothes off. In 30 seconds flat he had only his boxers on.
        I could feel my cheeks turning a bright red. "You know, Rosetta, you're absolutely beautiful." You are just saying that because you are drunk. I tell him in his head, not really wanting to talk out loud. "First of all, you are beautiful. And second of all, Did you do that?" I nod.
         "Add that to the list of things I already love about you." I sat down on the bed next to him, and laid back. Before I knew it he was on top of me. He leaned down and kissed me. Of course, I kissed him back.
         Then I thought of the fact that he doesn't have pants on. It would be so easy. As soon as I thought that I heard someone clear their throat in my doorway. It was my brother. Thank the heavens it was my brother.
         Kol got off of me, and rolled to the side.  "You are going to get him in a lot of trouble Rosie." Well I couldn't just push him off of me. It would be rude. And he would get the impression that I didn't like him. And I do like him, so...
          "Not tonight sister. Not tonight." He said walking away. Snickering all the way to his room. I roll me eyes at him.
         "Sorry, Kol--" Snoring cut me off. He was sound asleep. "Wow. Whatever" I sigh. I scoot him over and put us both under the covers. Before I knew it I went to sleep.
         I woke up to someone screaming. I look at the alarm clock, it's only been an hour since I fell asleep.
         "WHAT IN THE BLOODY HELL, IS THIS?!" Klaus shouted. I follow his eyes to see Kol with almost no clothes on. I feel my cheeks burning. "WAKE UP!!" He screamed at Kol. Kol woke up and looked around. Then he got off the bed.
         "This is not what it looks like, I swear. I got drunk and fell asleep on her bed. Clothes are uncomfortable to me when I'm drunk. You know this." Klaus calmed down a little.
       "Don't let it happen again." He stated firmly, then went downstairs.
       "I'm so sorry Kol. I didn't mean for any of this to happen." He just smirked at me. I felt my cheeks get warm.
        "Not your fault Luv... Klaus is a bit of a hothead." He says, still smirking. I smile back.
Klaus POV   

       "Who the hell are you? And why are you here."
        "I'm Edward Cullen. And this is my wife Bella. We have come for our children."
