This is a guy writing this and I don't know how girls think so you might get offended with what I write in the upcoming chapters. Sorry.

Hope you enjoy it though :)

"Am I supposed to like him?" asked Luke. His mother just finished showing him a photograph of the boy that will be staying with them for wo months. "He looks like a troublemaker. I don't want to hang out with him. What if he gets me arrested?" He grips the edge of the counter top in frustration. He is angry at his mother for not mentioning it earlier, not the day he's coming.

His mother lightly smacked the back of his head. "What have I told you about judging people you've never met?" She didn't like the rude comments her son made about the troubled boy. She looks over the photograph once more and sighs.

"It is mean and should not be done because they are human like us that have feelings and blah, blah." Luke rolls his eyes. "I still don't understand why we have to take him in."

"He has nowhere else to go, Luke." His mother shakes her head in disappointment. She thought her son would be warm and welcoming but clearly that isn't the case. "Don't you go to the same school? You can hang out and bond while he's living with us."

"But mom," Luke whines.

"Lucas Robert Hemmings, you go to your room and prepare space for him. Not one other word," his mother points her finger at him as if she is threatening him.

The young boy scoffs before walking out of the kitchen and to his room. He looks around for a bit, wodering how on Earth he is going to give the other boy space. "Fucking asshole," he directs his insult to the other boy. He sits on the bed and puts his head in his hands. Why can't he stay in Ben's room? Or even Jack's? he wonders. I've seen him around school, he's a complete dick.

"Luke, Michael's coming in a few," his brother Ben stands at the doorway. "Look presentable." He looks around the room and frowns. "And clean up in here. This isn't just your room anymore."

Luke finally looks up from his hands when he hears his brother's dissapearing footsteps down the hall. Grunting, he stands and begins picking up items from the left side of the room and throws them on his bed. After creating little space, he looks over his appearance through a long mirror. He contemplates whether to change or not, later deciding not to. He laces up his shoes just incase his mother makes him go outside to meet Michael.

Now all the blonde boy does is wait. He lays on his bead and waits for his name to be called downstairs. I bet he's going to steal our stuff, he continues thinking about Michael negatively. If it were some other person staying with them, Luke would be welcoming like his mother wants, but this is Michael.

Finally, after several minutes of doing absolutely nothing at all, his mother calls him down. Before walking downstairs, he takes a peek outside and sees the dark haired boy leaning against a black truck, arms folded in front of him. He even stands like a douche, Luke thinks.

"Be nice," Ben puts his hand on Luke's shoulder and guides him outside. He scoffs and pushes his older brother away, clearly annoyed. They finally reach Michael and Ben nearly falls on he floor laughing from the awkward handshake exchanged by his brother and the other boy. His other brother, Jack, is more serious of the situation and smiles in approval.

"Luke, why don't you show Michael where he will be staying?" his mother suggests, putting on a polite voice. She is trying to make a good impression on Michael's mom, who is currently sobbing a little.

The blonde nods and leads the dark haired boy up to his room. He is surprised Michael didn't hug his mother or even kiss her cheek goodbye. It's the last time he'll see her in two months, why wouldn't he?
