"So how long have you known him?" Dinah asked suspiciously eyeing the two.

Recently Camila had spend a lot of time with this dude. She had never introduced him to her friends.

Today was the first time.

"For quite some time now. That isn't important though." Camila brushed the question off.

"What?" Dinah said confused.

"Okay well, I'm Normani." The other girl shook his hand since Dinah was just shook. "I'm Matthew." He smiled politely.

"This is my friend Dinah she's just a little tired right now." Camila lied. She didn't want Dinah to embarrass her.

"I think she's shocked to be honest." He saw right through the blonde.

"Oh that's just how Dinah is, don't mind her." Camila held his hand tighter and walked off.

"You could have been a little bit nicer." Normani said when Camila and Matthew were out of sight.

"Nicer? She completely ignored us for weeks just to spend time with this weird ass looking gremlin."

It was rude but Normani couldn't help but laugh at how Dinah called him.

Ever since that last party Dinah was skeptical about Camila's weird behavior.

Why was she dating the guy she met at the party? Why couldn't she pick someone better?

"Anyways it's my birthday party now and I don't want you to be rude to people okay?" Normani helped Dinah out of her trance.

"Mani, don't you care about the fact that Camila hid her boyfriend from us and just now casually introduced him to us right before your birthday party?" Dinah said completely ignoring what the other girl was asking from her.

Normani rolled her eyes in annoyance as she walked passed Dinah to rearrange some of the furniture for the party.

"I didn't know this many people were gonna be here?" Zayn shouted over the loud music.

"Me neither. I literally only invited a few... guess people just invited themselves." The birthday girl said perplexed at how packed her house was.

After an hour the party was going wild. People were dancing on tables, drinking shots of eachothers body and singing karaoke.

Normani got loads of gifts even from people she had never met.

Surprisingly Lauren was getting to know Camila's boyfriend and they weren't fighting.. they were actually getting along and playing beer pong.

"...What I did was fucked up I get it. I just wanted to get to know him without all of you having an opinion on him and like getting involved..." Camila explained while taking a deep breath.

Dinah nodded for her to continue.

"I have been through so much with Lauren that I wanted to have a fresh start with someone I really really liked... and I do. He makes me feel so happy."

When she said that, Dinah couldn't help but smile.

"I'm glad he does." She smiled. "And looks like he and Lauren will have no beef." She nodded towards them playing.
