"Pete..Pete...Pettteeee." With a freshly manicured hand I grab my fiances face and plant a kiss directly on his fluttering eyelids. "PETE." I hissed into his ear to finish the job of waking him up, it is a multi-leveled process.

"What's up babe," he muffles, pretending never to have been asleep.

"You missed the end of the movie, it's our favorite part!" I had been glued to the screen for the past hour and a half watching my new favorite anime film, Spirited Away.

"But I already watched it twice tonight, three times yesterday, and twelve hundred last week.  I could draw a fucking flip book of the last scene!"

I am giggling uncontrollably.  This is his attempt at getting frustrated with me but it never works.  Our love feels like a gigantic cloud suspending us above any true anger with each other. He can't even wipe that goofy grin off his face.

"Chihiro is going right here." I point to my left inner forearm.

"Oh yeah, when?" He didn't see where I pointed, already walking towards the kitchen.  My guess is that Cheetos will be his next addition to our growing snack pile on the coffee table.

"In like...twelve minutes." I light up my phone to check the time.

"Wait Ari, what the fuck are you talking about?" He is back, Cheetos in hand.

Ever since we moved into this penthouse apartment, steps from everything New York City has to offer, I have a tendency of utilizing the ever growing on-demand access to goods. Today I ordered a massage, sushi, Hot Tamales, laundry and tampons from my phone.  My masseuse was a strong Swedish woman named Ida, sushi and Hot Tamales were delivered by a prickly teenager, laundry was just dropped on my doorstep, and tampons were courtesy of Pete.  I couldn't resist.  Now I ordered a tattoo.

After some searching, I found an adorable Japanese girl  who advertised her incredible artwork on Instagram.  I guess regular people would never be able to get a tattoo like this in the middle of the night, but I have found that just one direct message from an international pop star usually does the trick.

"Aika will be here soon and she is going to make Chihiro a part of me forever! Then maybe we can take a break on the binge watching."

"Oh thank the Lord, I miss SpongeBob."

Pete settles and I hum along with the famous jingle that dances toward my ears while watching the door expectantly.
