Chapter 1 (My POV)

You sat in your bathroom, back against the door even though it was locked.

*Being best friends with a internet famous boy made life hard. Making it worse when your parents announced that they're getting a divorce.

You being an only child felt so alone. Typically Matt would've been here but he went straight from Magcon Tour to Sunsation Tour. So you resorted to your old ways.

Depression sinking in, not eating, not drinking, cutting, burning, any form of self harm actually.*

You checked twitter one last time, changing one thing in your bio.

"487" to "0"

Something only you and Matt would understand. That day scared the shit out of him.

*flashback*

He held on to you crying and crying, begging you to wake up.

"God damn it Makenzye! Wake up! Please don't leave me like this!!!"

I laid on the ground in a pool of my own blood. Matt dialed 911.

Operator- 911 what's your emergency?

Matt- My bestfriend, she's passed out on her floor from blood loss. I need an ambulance!

Operator- Okay they are on their way sir.

"Baby girl wake up please! Don't die on me please!" Matt sobbed, holding you close to his chest. Tears hitting your forehead.

He heard the ambulance, and carried you to the EMT and held your hand the entire way to the hospital.

*flashback over*

Here you are. 487 days later. Giving up once again. You tweeted one last time.

"@kenzye_lanaye sorry I can't be everything y'all want, but I can be one thing. Bye"

Immediately after you deleted your Instagram and grabbed the blades that Matt thought you flushed down the toilet.

Just as you begin with one cut your phone starts to go off. It's your friend Aaron.

Aaron- Are you okay Mak?

Me- Yeah I'm fine.

Aaron- You sure?

Me- I'm sure.

Aaron- Positive?

Me- Yes Aaron I'm positive damn!

*i hung up and turned off my phone*

The blade is cold but inviting. I eventually go numb, and everything goes black.
