Chapter 4

Kaden's Pov
I get in my car and drive to Alisha's house. I pull up in her driveway and get out and help her with her bags. We get back in the car and I drive off. She says. "Where Tay bae at?" I glance over at her. "Don't call my sister that and she at school." She looks at me. "I hope you don't call yourself getting her a babysitter." I nod my head and drive. "It's Dallas and she gone try and throw a party." She says. "She gone be mad at you." I glance over at her. "She'll be alright." I drive off and she says. "You know she don't like being told what to do." I say. "She will be good." I continue to driving to Houston. She says. "How long we staying?" I glance over at her. "A week or two." She nods her head and gets on her phone. I say. "You want to stop at the store or something?" She says. "Nah." I continue driving for a few hours and we finally arrive. I get the bags out the car and walk inside the hotel. Alisha checks in and we get on the elevator. She looks at me. "Don't go acting like Tay's dad when we get back." I look at her. "Wym I might as well be." She shakes her head. "That's why y'all not as close as y'all use to be." We get off the elevator and walk to the room. Alisha says. "Don't call and check on her I'm sure she's good." I look at her. "I know she good she with Dallas."  A week later. I get up and walk downstairs and I see Dallas and Taylor whispering. I shake my head and Alisha says. "They been like that all morning." I walk over to them and they stop talking. I look at Taylor and say. "Go upstairs now Tay." She looks at me. "Nigga you don't tell me what to do." I grab her arm and Dallas stands up and looks at me. "Just let her go." I let her go and she runs upstairs. Dallas looks at me and says. "Why you doing all that bro?" I look at him. "Stay away from my little sister." Alisha walks over to me and says. "You need to calm down." Dallas walks out the house. I look at Alisha. "Nah cause they not getting together." Taylor walks downstairs with bags in her hand. "Where you going?" Dallas walks back in the house. She looks at Dallas and say. "Can you take me somewhere?" Dallas gets up and says. "Yeah come on." They walk outside and Alisha says. "You're only pushing her away." I look at her. "Idc they not getting together." I get my phone and walk upstairs in my room. I try calling Tay but she doesn't answer. Alisha walks in the room and says. "What's the big deal as long as he treating her right?" I look at her. "The big deal is he's my homeboy,so they not dating." I get in the bed and lay down and go to sleep.
Dallas's Pov
I wake up the next morning and I see that Taylor's not there. I get up and walk downstairs. I see Taylor sitting on the couch. I walk over to her and I sit next to her. She looks at me and says. "You get on my nerves." I say. "What I do?" She looks at me. "You think you slick." I shake my head and push her softly. Kaden looks at her and says. "Go upstairs now Tay." She looks at him. "Nigga you don't tell me what to do." She storms upstairs and I look at Kaden and say. "Why you doing all that bro?" He says. "Stay away from my little sister." I shake my head. "We just friends."  Taylor walks downstairs. Kaden says. "Where you going?" She looks at me and says. "Can you take me somewhere?" I get up and say. "Yeah come on." She walks outside and I follow behind her. We get in my car. I glance over at her. "Where you going?" She looks at me. "Go to Kobe house." I drive off and say. "Oh yo boyfriend house." She says with an attitude. "Nigga I told you we not dating." I say. "Mhm I don't believe you." I drive to Kobe's house and She grabs her bag and gets out the car and walk inside the house. I drive off and go home. I pull up in my driveway a few minutes later and I get out and see Hunter sitting on my porch. "Nigga what you doing here?" He stands up and says. "I came to talk to you." I get my keys and unlock the door and we walk inside. Hunter says. "Bro I know Kaden yo boy, but you can't hide your feelings for his sister." I shake my head. "He already said he don't want us to date so ima just fall back." He looks at me. "Aight when she find another nigga don't be mad." I say. "Ima be alright." He shakes his head. "You need to call her and talk to her." I shake my head. "I'll think about it." He turns to walk outside and says. "You know you don't want her with no one else." He leaves and I walk upstairs and I go in my room and lay down. I slowly drift off to sleep and get woken up out my sleep by my phone vibrating. I sit up and check my phone and see I got a text from Kaden. I think about what Hunter said last night. I get my phone and call Taylor.

I hang up the phone and get up and walk in the bathroom. I do my hygiene stuff and I put on my clothes. I walk out the bathroom and grab my phone and keys and walk downstairs. I walk outside and get in the car. I drive to Kobe's house and I get a text from hunter.
Hunter: you thought about what I said last night
Me: yeah bro and you right
Hunter: go and get your shorty
Me: aight bro
Hunter: tell her I said wassup
Me: Nah nigga but I'm about to go and get Taylor
Hunter: that's her name?
Me: yeah we chillin' today
Hunter: that's what's up and don't be an ass to her
Me: I'm not an ass towards her
Hunter: So you treat her different hmm 🤔
Me: bro don't and I'm driving

I shake my head and I pull up at Kobe's house and get out. I knock on the door and his mom opens the door. She looks at me. "You must be the young man Taylor was talking about last night." I look at her. "I hope so." She steps to the side and lets me in. "I hope you don't hurt her cause she's like a daughter to me." I say. "No ma'am I won't." Kobe walks downstairs and says. "Wassup Dallas." I shake my head. "Nothing bruh." He says. "Let me go and wake her up." He walks upstairs and his mom says. "What are your intentions with Taylor." I look at her. "I just want to get to know her and hopefully make her mine." She nods her head and Taylor walks over to me and we walk outside and get in my car. I look at her before pulling off and say. "What you and yo boyfriend do last night?" She looks at me and rolls her eyes. "Nigga I told you he, not my damn boyfriend." I say. "I just wanted to see you get mad cause you cute." She rolls her eyes. "You won't think I'm cute when I kick yo ass." I say. "You know you can't kick my ass, Tay." She says. "Try me and see." I drive off and she says. "Where we going?" I say. "You'll see." I glance over at her and she rolls her eyes. I say. "I hope them bitches get stuck." She smacks me upside the head. "They not nigga." We pull up at the county fair and get out and I walk over to her. She glares at me and mumbles something. I look at her. "What was that?" She shakes her head and we walk around the fair and play games. We get on the Ferris wheel and She wraps her arm around my arm and lays her head on my shoulder. I say. "Hmm, I thought you were being mad at me." She looks up at me. "Oh I am mad at you,but that don't mean I don't want to be under you right now." I shake my head. "You bipolar bruh." She glares at me. "Why you got to ruin shit man." She takes her arm from around my arm and I pull her closer to me. I wrap my arms around her. "You know you bipolar girl and don't be doing that shit." She rolls her eyes and the Ferris wheel stops and we get off. We walk over to the basketball game and I start playing. I win a bear and I turn around and look at Taylor. "Come and pick out which bear you want." She walks up to me and gets a big stuffed teddy bear. I see Hunter and I walk over to him. "Wassup bruh what you doing here?" He says. "My girl wanted to come and I see you brought your girl." I shake my head. "Yeah,but she trippin' right now." Hunter looks at me. "What you do?" I shake my head and Taylor walks over to us. I look at her. "You just had to pick that big ass bear." She rolls her eyes. "You said pick out which bear I want." I look at Hunter. "You see what I gotta deal with." She says. "What you mean, what you gotta deal with?" Hunter says. "She just speaks her mind a lot." I say. "Don't take that the wrong way baby, I wasn't saying it like that." She walks off and Hunter says. "You really feeling her and I see she got a mouth on her." I look over at Taylor and I see her fighting. I shake my head and I walk over to her and grab her. I grab her phone and the bear and take her to the car. I put her in the car and walk around to the driver's side and get in. I look at her and say. "Why you out here wildin'?" She glares at me. "She called me a bitch so I had to show her." I shake my head and drive off. "I can never take you nowhere." She says. "You need to keep yo hoes in check." I say. "I don't have hoes ma and that was Hunter's girl." She rolls her eyes and I drive to Waffle House. I say. "You hungry?" She doesn't say anything and I shake my head and continue driving. We pull up at Waffle House and get out. I look over at Taylor and she fixes her clothes. I walk over to her and try to hold her hand, but she snatches it away from me. I shake my head. "Why you mad at me?" She walks in and I follow behind her. She starts walking to the table, but I pull her to the side and look at her. "You not talking to me now?" She walks to a empty table and sits down. I walk to the table and sit in front of her. The same waitress from the other day walks over to us and says. "Look who's back the cute couple." Taylor gets on her phone and I say. "She being stubborn rn." The waiteress says. "What can I get y'all?" Taylor says. "Can I have a coke with a T-Bone steak." I say. "I'll have the same." She walks off and Taylor gets back on her phone. I say. "So you really not going to talk to me." She looks up at me and rolls her eyes. "No I'm not cause you made me mad." I say. "Man how I made you mad?" She says. "I'm not about to argue with you." I look at her. ''I'm not trying to start an argument bae.'' The waitress brings us our food and drinks. We eat our food and I look at her and shake my head. I pay for the food and we get up and leave. We get in my car and She says. ''Take me back to Kobe's house.'' I glance over at her before driving off. ''oh now you want to talk to me.'' She rolls her eyes and mumbles. ''stupid ass.'' I say. ''WHAT TF YOU JUST SAY?'' She says. ''lower your voice nigga,cause i don't know who you think you talking to.'' I drive to Kobe's house. We pull up at his house a few minutes later and She gets out and gets her bear and storm in the house. I get my phone and I see I got a text from Hunter.
Hunter: wassup bro you still with your girl
Me: nah she mad at me rn
Hunter: what you do
Me: I didn't do anything
Hunter: you better make it right nigga
Me: aight bro
I get out the car and walk up to the door and knock. Kobe opens the door and looks at me. "She really pissed." I look at him and walk in the house. "I know bro,but where she at?" He steps to the side and says. "Upstairs." Tay walks downstairs and goes in the kitchen.
I walk in the kitchen and say. "Can we talk?" She turns around and looks at me. "What we got to talk about?" Kobe walks in the kitchen. "Girl talk to him." She glares at both of us. "you got 5 minutes." I walk over to her. "I'm sorry for making you mad at me." She rolls her eyes. "You don't even know what you did." I wrap my arms around her waist. "ok well tell me what I did?" She says. "you was being an ass tonight." I pull her closer to me and hug her. "I'm sorry for being an ass I wasn't trying to be one." Kobe says. "You staying Dallas?" She rolls her eyes. "Nah he leaving." I look at her. "why I can't stay?" She looks at me. "Cause I don't want you to." I look at her. "Well good thing this isn't your house." She rolls her eyes and walks off. Kobe looks at me and shakes his head. "Bro What you do?" I look at him and shrug. "I apologized, but she still seems mad at me." Kobe says. "She stubborn ass hell."
Taylor's Pov
I wake up the next morning and I see that I'm laying in Dallas's arms. I slowly get up and walk in the bathroom. I do my hygiene stuff and I put on my clothes. I walk out of the bathroom and I go downstairs. I sit on the couch and get on my phone. Dallas sits next to me. I look at him and say. "You get on my nerves." He says. "What I do?" I look at him. "You think you slick." He shakes his head and pushes me softly. Kaden looks at me and says. "Go upstairs now Tay." I look at him. "Nigga you don't tell me what to do."He grabs my arm and Dallas stands up and looks at him. "Just let her go." He lets me go and I run upstairs. I walk in my room and slam the door shut. I get on my phone and text Kobe.
Me: where you at?
My Ace 👿♥️: I'm at home
Me: I'm staying with you for a few days
My Ace 👿♥️: what happened
Me:Kaden pissed me off
My Ace 👿♥️: tell me what happened when you get here
Me: aight I'll see you in a minute
I walk in my closet and I grab a bag and I start packing me some clothes. I walk out the closet and I go in my bathroom and grab my toothbrush. I walk out the bathroom and I grab my phone charger and keys. I walk out the room and I go downstairs. Kaden says. "Where you going?" I look at Dallas and say. "Can you take me somewhere?" Dallas gets up and says. "Yeah come on." I walk outside and wait for Dallas. He walks outside and we get in his car. He glances over at me. "Where you going?" I look at him. "Go to Kobe house." He drives off and says. "Oh yo boyfriend house." I glare at him. "Nigga I told you we not dating." He says. "Mhm I don't believe you." I roll my eyes and get on my phone. He drives to Kobe house and I grab my bag and I get out the car and walk inside the house. Kobe's mom looks at me. "Who dropped you off?" Kobe comes downstairs and says. "Her man." I roll my eyes. "I don't have a man." Kobe looks at me and I walk upstairs in his room. I lay across his bed and he says. "So what happened?" I look at him. "Kaden saw me and Dallas talking and he just flipped out on me." He shakes his head. "Girl fuck him,you grown." I shake my head. "He the one that told him to stay with me." He shakes his head. "Fuck him and get your man." Kobe's mom walks in the room and says. "Taylor you staying?" I nod my head. "Just for a few days." She says. "Ok,but I want to meet your boyfriend soon." I shake my head. "I don't have a boyfriend." Kobe says. "Now why you lying to my momma girl?" I look at his mom. "I don't have a boyfriend,but I'm kinda feeling someone." She says. "You need to tell that person how you feel." I shake my head and She walks out the room. I get up and grab my bag and walk in the bathroom. I change into something comfortable and I walk out the bathroom and I lay down in the bed and go to sleep. Kobe wakes me up the next morning and I sit up and rub my eyes. "What time is it and why you wake me up?" He looks at me. "Cause yo damn phone been going off." I grab my phone off the charger and I see I got a lot of missed calls and texts from Kaden. I roll my eyes. "It was just Kaden." I get up and grab my bag and walk in the bathroom. I do my hygiene stuff and I put on my jeans and a crop top. My phone rings and I walk out the bathroom and answer it.

"Yo man downstairs waiting on you and hurry up before my momma talk his damn ear off." I get up and walk in the bathroom. I brush my hair and I walk out the bathroom and put on my shoes. I grab my phone and walk downstairs. Dallas looks at me and I walk over to him and we walk outside and get in his car. He looks at me before pulling off and says. We get on the Ferris wheel and I wrap my arm around his arm and lay my head on his shoulder. He says. "Hmm I thought you was being mad at me." I look up at him. I look up from my phone and look at him. "And you are?" He says. "I'm Hunter one of Dallas homeboys." I softly smile. "Hey." Dallas turns around and looks at me. "Come and pick out which bear you want." I walk up to him and I get a big stuffed teddy bear. I walk over to Dallas and Hunter. Dallas looks at me. "You just had to pick that big ass bear." I roll my eyes. "You said pick out which bear I want." Dallas looks at Hunter. "You see what I gotta deal with." I look at him. "What you mean,what you gotta deal with?" Hunter says. "Excuse you." She says. "Bitch you heard me." I sit my bear and phone down and I start swinging on her. Dallas runs over to me and grabs me. He grabs my phone and the bear and takes me to the car. He puts me in the car and I fold my arms. Dallas gets in the car and says. "Why you out here wildin'?" I glare at him. "She called me a bitch,so I had to show her." He shakes his head and drives off. I eat my food and drink my coke without saying anything. Dallas looks at me and shakes his head. Dallas pays for the food and we get up and leave. We get in his car and I look at him. ''Take me back to Kobe's house.'' He glances over at me before driving off. ''oh now you want to talk to me.'' I roll my eyes and mumble. ''stupid ass.'' He says. ''WHAT TF YOU JUST SAY?'' I look at him sideways. ''lower your voice nigga,cause i don't know who you think you talking to.'' I get on my phone and Dallas drives to Kobe's house. We pull up at his house a few minutes later and I get out and get my bear and storm inside. I walk upstairs and go in Kobe's room. Kobe looks at me. ''What happened?'' I shake my head. ''Dallas made me mad." He stands up and says. "you just want to be mad at that man." I roll my eyes and Kobe walks out the room. I walk out the room and I hear Kobe talking to someone. I walk further downstairs and I see Dallas. I roll my eyes and walk in the kitchen. Dallas walks in the kitchen and says. "Can we talk?" I turn around and look at him. "What we got to talk about?" I do my hygiene stuff and I put on some shorts and a tank top. I walk out the bathroom and I grab my phone off the bed. I walk out the room and go downstairs. I look at Kobe and say. "When yo mom coming home?" He says. "She working a double." I shake my head and I sit on the couch and turn on the tv. Dallas sits next to me and says. "You still mad at me?" I look at him. "Nah." Kobe says. "I told you she stubborn ass hell." I glare at him. "I'm not stubborn." Dallas says. "Well can I take you out tomorrow night?" I look at him. "You just took me out tonight."
