Chapter five | Dinner is served.

Mr Mason, the Driver of our limo pulls up the car in front of a huge white mansion. I could feel my jaws literally drop at the beautiful sight in front of my eyes. This people are damm too rich like crazy rich . I step inside the house along with my Mum and Dad , the interior of the house is way more better and fancier than the exterior part with the ceilings decorated with the most beautiful chandielier i have ever seen . My indirect tour of the house was cut short when i see a couple approaching us with beaming smiles on their faces.

"You guys are finally here , thank GOD you came" The pale blonde hair man exchanges hugs with my mum then turns to face me "You must be Ruby right" I nodded at his question cause the aura he carried made me a little frightened.

I Look at the woman who is standing beside him dressed in expensive jewelleries and a beautiful blue sleek loius vutton gown . The woman proceeds to exchange pleasantries with Mum and dad which looked like she was forced to actually do it .

"How are you doing Ruby" She turns her stern face and shoots me a small smile.

"Fine , thank you for asking" I smile back at her .

"Since all plesantaries have been exchanged may we proceed to the dining room for some dinner cause am starving" We all nods or heads in agreement as he turns to his wife "Where is your son" He says in   a low tone but i heard him .

"Tom , hurry up and come downstairs " She shouts in the direction of the staircase  . We all proceeded to the dinning table and took our seats , i sat down beside my mum and looked at the empty chair opposite me which is definitely meant for their son .

I had barely started to eat when i heard Mr Anderson Voice "There he is . I want you all to meet my son, Ryan Thomas Anderson" I froze at the mention of the name Ryan and i silently prayed in my heart that it wasnt who am thinking it is . I slowly raise up my head to look at a gorgeous feature smiling at me broadly with his pale blonde hair covering his forehead making him look more handsome than usual .

GOD, why am i thinking like this . According to those cliche novels this is the time am meant to panick or maybe do something like walk out but who am i kidding this isnt a cliche book or movie.

"So Ryan meet my friend and soon gonna be  business partner daughter , Ruby" He gestures his hand to me and i could feel Ryan eyes all over me but i choose to ignore it and help myself to the sushi plate.

"Dont worry Dad , we already know each other " He says in a awkward tone cause everyone eyes to focus on me .

"Really from where" As Ryan makes an attemot to speak ,i cut me off.

"I gave him a tour of the school earlier today " I continue to eat my food .

"Thats good " My dad changes the topic to something about the business world and i coukd not just help but be garteful to him in my heart.

"So looks like we meet again , Ruby Woodpecker" Ryan gives me one of those boyish smirks .

"Can you just leave me alone please" I shoot him a glare.

"Relax , i just wanna tell you am sorry for what i said earlier today at the gym" He gives me a sad face and i coukd not help but smile.

Can someone tell me why am smiling .

"No problem, Jerk"

"Whoa Jerk . You already got me figured out " I just nodded my head at his statement and continue eating my food.

"Hmm , so are you going for the business trip next week at South Korea" Mr Blake raises his voice obviously directing his statement to Dad.

"Sure , i wouldnt miss it . Myself and Anna are going " He holds my Mums palm.

"If you two are gonna then who is gonna stay with Ruby here in Beveley Hills" Mrs Anderson speaks out after many minutes of silence .

"Well she can cope , we always leave her at home when we go on trips like this"

"Really thats nice. We also do the same to Ryan when we go on trips" Mr Blake pauses for some seconds and speaks up " You know what a idea just came to me . Since the four of us would be away for two weeks , why dont we allow the two kids to stay here together to keep each other's company" I almost choke as those words came out from Mr Anderson mouth but luckily for me ,no one noticed me .

The next voice i heard was the voice of Ryan "Sounds like a good idea , i get lonely here all the time" Ok now am officially screwed cause did Ryan jist agree to the idea of us living together for two weeks .

"I support the idea too. If thats ok with you Mrs Anderson" He turns to face Ryans mum who is having the same surprised look on her face but is trying to cover it up with a smile.

"Sure , no problem" She says in an almost fake tone .

Whats going on, whats is happening right now .

"In that case , we are excited to have you on saturday "Mr Anderson shoots me a small smile . I turn my face to see Ryan smirking at me.

Am so mad at Dad right now, he did not even ask on my say about this . GOD today was sure a strenous day so many things happend and now this .

What else could possibly go wrong . The warm liquid of fresh yoghurt pours on my body from the plate a waiter is crying causing my white dress to have some pink stains on it . The waiter tries to apologise profusely but is cut off by Ryan's dad who askes him to leave .

Ok this is officially the worst day of my life . I could hear a laugh coming from Ryan direction making me  feel so embarassed.
