Stacy's P.O.V
Either there's an earthquake, or someone's jumping on my bed.
Bitch please, there are no earthquakes in London.
Wait...
I opened one eye just to make sure before sighing in relief. Nope, no earthquake, just Sage and Sawyer jumping on my bed. SAGE AND SAWYER.
"OH MY GOD!" I screamed, getting up and tackling them down with hugs and sloppy kisses. "Okay, get off of me." Sage snapped. I laughed, rolling my eyes and standing up. "Dont act like you dont enjoy my kisses." I smirked.
She rolled her eyes, smiling, but shaking her head. "What are you guys doing here?" I asked.
"We called them." Laura smiled as she, Michaela, and Carah walked into my room and sat on my bed. "Why?" I asked.
"Because a certain someone has some very important news, and is going to need her family's support." Carah smiled, poking my stomach lightly. I groaned.
"Stace." a manly voice said from the door. I turned around and faced my dad and Sophia. Too excited, I ran over to them, engulfing them in one big hug.
"So, what's this news your roommates told us about that was so urgent, we had to fly for ten hours to hear?" Dad asked. I gulped. I've never really actually thought about how I was going to tell my dad.
I guess I was scared.
Maybe even a little part of me thought I could hide it.
Damn roommates.
"How about breakfast?" I asked everyone. No one replied. I looked over to Sophia for some help and she slowly nodded. "I think breakfast sounds great. There's a little diner around the corner I've been dying to try out." she said.
Everyone agreed, relieving me of my nerves for a hour or so.
My family and friends waited while I got showered and dressed.
I looked in the mirror once I put on my bra and panties, gazing dreamily at my baby bump. I smiled, lightly rubbing my stomach. Looking at it, it just looks like I've gained a little weight. I thanked God that this is how big my stomach will be for the rest of my pregnancy.
Maybe paparazzi wont notice.
I quickly got dressed in a cute little outfit, straightening my hair and putting a waterfall braid in. I grabbed my bag, then sprinted down the stairs, joining the rest of humanity.
We walked to the diner, laughing as Dad joked about being royalty.
"Im serious, I could get knighted, and everywhere I go, I'll be like 'Lord George is in this bitch'" he said. I snorted with laughter, sitting down at our usual table in the place. A booth in the back corner.
"I'll have a short stack of chocolate chip pancakes, eggs scrambled with cheese, bacon, and a low fat milk please." I smiled, ignoring everyone's astonished faces. Well, everyone but Michaela, Laura, and Carah.
"Are you sure you dont want coffee?" my dad asked. Shit.
I played it off, shaking my head. "I dont really drink the stuff anymore." I replied cooly. He snorted. "Oh please, you could never give up your iced coffee." he replied before turning to the waitress. "She'll also have an iced coffee." he said.
"No!" I yelled, scaring everyone at the table. "Im fine with what I ordered." I said more quietly. Dad nodded, looking at me suspiciously. Why on earth did I suggest going out for breakfast? Iced Coffee. Me without Iced Coffee is like the world without China. We cant function properly.
I managed to get through the whole meal without having to mention my pregnancy. I felt anxious. Not scared anymore, but anxious. I just wanted to tell them already so I could get it over with.
"Honey, you've been quiet. Is there something you want to say?" dad asked.
"Uh...I- uh..okay...I may or may not be pregnant." I said slowly. "What?" he laughed. "Are you pregnant or not?" he asked.
"Well, Im not not pregnant." I said.
My dad remained emotionless, Sophia was nervous, the twins were beaming. Sophia smiled happily at me before darting her eyes to my father, awaiting his reaction. We all were.
And I think we were all equally suprised and relieved when his expressionless face turned into a massive grin.
"Im going to be a grandad?" he whispered. I nodded.
"Honey, congratulations." he laughed, squeezing my hand reassuringly. "You'll make an excellent mother."
"I hope so." I smiled. "You will." he said.
"Do you have any ideas what you're going to do?" Sophia asked. I cocked my head to the side in confusion. "What do you mean?" I asked.
"Do you have a plan for work, or living?" she asked.
I shook my head. "I guess I never thought about it." I replied. "Well of course you can stay with us." Carah said. I shook my head again. "You guys are single, and living on your own. Im going to be a mum with a newborn baby, I dont want to impose." I said.
"But you wont be." Laura said. I nodded. "Yes. I will. It's okay, I'll just find a flat very close to you guys, maybe in walking distance, maybe the one next to us." I shrugged. "I'll be close though. I cant think about raising this boy without his fun aunties." I side hugged Michaela.
"Hey!" the twins said.
Oh yeah, they're his aunts too. And they'll be in America.
"You can spend summers with me." I shrugged, cooly.
"And for work?" Dad asked. "Well, it will be hard but in the line of work Im in I can just work from home." I said.
I have a plan. Hopefully it all works out. But then again, it never does.
