Silence surrounded the place, all you can hear was the beep sound from the heart monitor, the steady breathing of the one laying at the hospital bed and the woman sitting in the corner, sobbing. It's been 4 months since he was confined and since then, never left that hospital bed. Seeing her son in that state makes her cry more. His son doesn't deserve this and it will never be. She wished to be in his son's place, he has so many dreams and it will all disappear like nothing had happened.

"M-mom." A voice that made the woman flinch and ran towards the boy that's looking at her weakly. You could hear his irregular breathing that was coiled inside the oxygen mask.

"What is it, baby?" She asked with a loving smile, holding the pale and cold hand of her son. Seeing him from afar is unbearable but looking at him is beyond that, you can see the wrinkles in his face due to his loss of weight. The old strong and cheerful Izuku was now weak and just holding on to his mothers hands to smile.

"P-plea..se. D-don't.. Cry." He said as he lift his hand and wipe his mother's tears that come from those beautiful eyes, even though it was a hard task for him because he no longer have the strength to do so. She hand the other hand of the child and smile even more.

"Ye-yes, baby." She said, trying to hold back the tears that want to be out. She's trying to be strong for his son that's don't fazed by his sickness and somewhat trying to cheer her up.

He started to cough, luckily it has no blood, or should it be? "C-can I have some water?" He asked and his mother immediately grab the glass and pour some but when she turned and look at his son, he was unconscious and the motion of up and down of his chest stopped, then in the heart monitor there was a high pitch that rang in her ears and then saw that flat line, there his mother cried so much and called for the doctor that came immediately. He started to loss color that made her mother cry even more.

She just watch as the doctor tried to revive his son, she called his son's friends and as they came, Izuku's heart started beating again. She cried with joy and sat down holding her shirt where her heart was placed.

"How is he?!" Todoroki Shouto asked as he enter the room. They are properly aligning Izuku's cords. Slight color came back to his face.

"Don't worry, he's out of danger again. His heart just stopped for few minute but back again. Let's just wait for him to wake up for more test... What a strong and lucky guy he was." The doctor said and took an glance of Izuku, he smiled, but a very sad one. Misfortune one. He said to himself as he walked with the other nurses and doctor, passing Todoroki.

How can you call him lucky when his suffering this badly?!

Todoroki said to himself and clutched his fist. His heart felt sting and grit his teeth.

I don't want him to go but if it means that his sufferings will end... I will gladly accept it.

He walk toward the sobbing mother and hug her. Reassuring her that he will be alright. Just a few moments later Iida, Uraraka, Kirishima and Bakugou arrived, all of them have worried face except for Bakugou who has pissed expression, well that's always his expression, it was kind of different now. It has a slight hint of sadness and concern.
