Blakes POV:
I took a deep breath and entered the room. Today was the day I was going to tell Elliana I'm a werewolf, and she was my mate.
I took a look at the outfit I had picked out for her, and how she was wearing my sweatshirt. Awww. It made me smile. She bit her lip, appearing anxious and our eyes met.
I took a few steps toward her and sat on the bed, signaling for her to sit down with me. She either didn't get the hint, or ignored it because she stayed standing with her arms crossed. I stood matching her body language and she sat down reluctantly.
I sighed and prepared myself for telling her.
"So I have to talk to you about something, would you like to get something to eat?" Her eyes widened in surprise and she nodded, causing me to chuckle.
"What would you like? I'll have the guards pick it up." I told her, and saw her smile drop. Yeah, she's not escaping on my watch.
"B-but I want some fresh air.." She protested.
I smiled and stood up. "You're not leaving me Elliana. How does IHop sound?" Without waiting for a reply, I walked out of the room and shut the door behind me. I let out a small growl and stormed upstairs. I'm not losing her. I slammed my fist into the wall and ran outside into the woods.
The cool air felt good as it blew through my black fur. I ran past trees when a familiar scent hit my nose. I couldn't quite place it but I knew I've smelt it before
I followed the scent cautiously when I saw a girl on her phone on the side of the road, walking slowly. I lurked behind a tree and watched her.
"Elliana!" The girl cried out. I had to suppress the urge to growl. That was the girl who was with Elliana at the diner where I took her. What was she doing out here? I switched back into human form and put on my clothes I had brought in my bag. I walked out of the woods and approached her.
"Oh thank god someone's out here! I'm so lost. Please tell me you can help me?" I begged as I got a little closer to her.
