Chapter 8-

Emma's POV:

"Elliana?!" I cried out. I was getting desperate. This was too long that I haven't heard from her. I was going to look on my own just around the town before I got the police involved. I decided to check by where the party was to see if there were any clues. I heard rustling in the trees and I jumped. 

A handsome stranger who appeared to be my age approached me from the woods. I stepped back cautiously. He had fear displayed across his face. 

"Oh thank god someone's out here! I'm so lost. Please tell me you can help me?" He begged, his eyes searching for mine. It was intimidating. I looked down at the ground and he remained staring at me. I bit my lip.

"I'm sorry, I'm just looking for my friend.. Have you seen her?" I pulled up the same picture I showed the couple at the diner. His eyes sparked and he smiled. 

"Wow, she's really pretty." I rolled my eyes and nodded. "Yeah, she is. Have you seen her?" He looked back up at me, with the same smile on his face. "No, I haven't." He told me.

I sighed and looked around. "Okay.. Thanks anyway." As I started to turn away, he grabbed my wrist.

"Wha-" He pulled me closer to him and my breathing hitched. He leaned close to me and whispered in my ear.

"Some things are better left unfound.." He turned away and walked back into the woods. My hand subconsciously touched my ear and my mouth was left open ajar. And I never even asked for his name...

Elliana's POV: 

I paced around my room, waiting for Blake to return. He was so angry.. What if he doesn't come back? What if he leaves me in here until I starve to death? What if he finds another way to kill me? These thoughts wouldn't stop buzzing through my head. I sat on the edge of my bed and brought my knees up to my chest. I can't die in here...

The noise of a door being opened and closed somewhere through out the house made me jump. Is he back? I tried taking deep breaths to calm myself down. If I can't fight, I'll have to get him to trust me so I can escape. I have to make him think that his sick delusion of me loving him was real. I almost threw up in my mouth just thinking about it. 

As my door unlocked and opened, I flung myself into Blake's arms. I bit my tongue hard enough to get tears rolling down my cheeks since I don't know how to fake cry yet. 

Surprised, his arms hung in the air for a minute before he held me close to him tightly. With one hand he stroked my hair soothingly, and the other he rubbed my back softly, instantly making me feel calm. I felt my eyes get heavy as he led me to my bed, and had me lie down. He sat on the edge of my bed and held my hand. I didn't want to sleep, but it came over me naturally. He kissed my hand for reassurance and it felt magnetic. He leaned forward and kissed my head before standing up. 

"We can talk about this later. Sleep well, my love." As my eyes began to shut, I heard the door softly shut behind him. I sighed and drifted off to sleep. For the first time in a long time, I slept decently. 

My eyes fluttered open and I yawned. I sat up and rubbed my eyes. From what I could see out of the window, it was dark outside. I stood up and the hardwood floor felt cold against my feet. I turned on a light and my eyes adjusted. On the desk next to my bed, was a paper bag with the ihop logo on it. I grabbed the bag and sat back down on my bed. 

It was still warm when I pulled out a little container of chocolate chip pancakes. My mouth watered as I got out the small syrup packet from the bag. I poured it on, and took the first bite. My eyes rolled back and I sighed in pleasure. I finished up the delicious pancakes and threw the bag in the trash. 

I know most people would be freaking out that some stranger who kidnapped them is now just giving them tasty food, but I will never turn down Ihop.. No matter where I got it from. I smiled and went back to laying down in bed. Just as I got comfy the door busted open.

I expected it to be Blake, but as I looked up my mouth dropped. No. This wasn't happening. How could this be happening?! I shrank under the covers and prayed this would end soon..
