Matts POV

I was shocked as she fell to the ground in tears. I sat down and held her in my arms. She had a bottle of pills spilled open on the ground. She showed me her phone to show me why she tried to die. One of her best friends was hit by a car and couldn't make it. After 15 minutes of her crying and looked up at me. Her brown eyes were glassy and her brown hair was in a messy bun. She asked if Maliya was gone. I shook my head yes and she asked if she could move back into our hotel room for the last night. I said of course.

I helped her pack up again and we walked back to her hotel room. By the time we got back it was 10 pm. She turned on Pretty Little Liars. Everytime she got scared she would bury her head into my arm. I let her and each time she got scared I lifted her head up and lightly kissed her forehead. After it was over it was 11pm. She was sleeping by then. I picked her up and put her In the same bed as me. I didn't want her to wake up scared and afraid. Every time she woke up, I would hold her and and she placed her head into my chest. Finally we woke up for the final time at 8am. It was 2 hours until checkout.

I was so thankful Madi lived in the same state as me only 30 minutes away. This way I could still visit Madi everyday. After our flight back home, I drove back home with Madi in the car to my house. Madi has met my parents before so they already know her. We ran up to my room. My room was freezing so I gave her one of my sweatshirts. It was cliche but it was fine with her. I asked her if she could stay over and she asked her parents. Her mom said it was fine.

During the night I couldn't fall asleep so I watched whatever was on. Madi woke up while I was up. We watched the notebook. We cuddled and both fell asleep. It was the perfect night with the perfect girl. When we both woke up she had some big news.
