Louis didn't see him the next day. In fact, he didn't see him for the next three.
When he saw him again, it was Saturday.
Louis was walking Clifford when he noticed a familiar body exiting the building across the street.
"Hey!" He called out, surprised Cliff hadn't started barking yet. "Hey, Curly!"
The second the lanky boy turned to look at him, Clifford started barking again.
Great.
"Hey, Cliff's owner!" He shouted back. "Cliff, I thought we agreed on no more barking!" He yelled in exasperation, walking towards them.
"Maybe if you introduced yourself, he'd stop barking at you." Louis said, half joking, silently thankful he got to meet him again.
He totally didn't spend those past few mornings wondering if he'd get to see the lad again. And he totally wasn't crushing on the dorky giant. Totally.
