Location: Temporary Nebula Data Base, Alaska

It was cold. I had lost almost complete feeling in my hands and toes. My face had a slick film of ice where my mask touched my skin. It was hard to see, think even.

Ander had yelled something in my direction but I couldn't interpret it under the white storm's noise. I decided to ignore him. But he yelled again. I lifted myself onto my elbows, leaving from the sight of my scope. "What?" I yell.

"They'll be coming soon, get ready to cover fire!" I could've guessed that he'd said that. I've been ready ever since I was designated this mission. That had annoyed me, but I shook it off, returning to my sight.

We had an advantage point above Nebula's temporary camp setup. Only a small portion of them had gathered here to receive intel on us, the Facility. Me, Ander and a few others were chosen to put a stop to it. Our advantage point was incredibly obstructed by the storm, but if it were to die down, our cover would be blown. This mission was to be top secret. No one but us know about Nebula, and it will have to stay like this for a little while longer.

The belly of my coat stuck to the icy floor as I shifted myself to have a better grip and sight of my scope. I set myself up. I went through everything I have to take account of. Wind speed, wind direction, range, target movement, light source, temperature. Ander wasn't that good of a spotter, but I've learned to adjust to him.

"Two hundred thirty eight yards." I tailor my scope to his observation.

He told me everything I needed to know. And I was able to set my scope to a perfect fix up. Perhaps I should think a little more highly of his spotter skills.

"We need the wind to die down if we want me to provide adequate cover fire." I shake my head, this was gonna be tough to pull off.

"I'd offer to take your place, but my eyes are fatigued from scouting."

"I would've declined your offer anyways."

Ander shrugs as I pray that the storm would settle before the rest of our team came in. Hopefully luck is on my side today. The wind whistled in our ears, anticipation was rising.

Finally, a team member was heard on the radio. "Eagle Eye, this is Coyote, how do you copy? Over."

Ander hurryingly hands me the radio and I click the transmission button, "Copy, 4 out of 5. Over."

I wait for a reply, "Roger, we're moving in. Over and Out." My shoulders stiffen as I watch the east side of camp, waiting until I see the squad.

The storm was settling, or maybe my eyes were adapting. Me and Ander watch as they inch towards the first base they would infiltrate in an orderly formation. They blended with the storm, they were almost the storm itself. "Eagle Eye, this is Red Bull, requesting cover fire on our six, over."

I blindly push the radio closer to Ander in a messy fashion as I try to scope out the area. Ander grabs the radio. "Copy, wilco. Over."

Their trust was now in mine and Ander's hands. But more in mine.

The camp wasn't hostile, they didn't know we had access to them or that we were in their territory. The team split up. A few had circled the tent, gaining advantage points at the windows while the rest of the squad waited at the front entrance. In sync, they quietly entered. I imagined them taking out the enemies swiftly and without trouble. I knew their tactic abilities were well defined.

Ander tuned into their station so we could hear what they were communicating. He turned it down until it was almost background noise. "All clear." We heard a member say.
