"Hey Ian do you wanna go visit my grandma today?" I yell from the kitchen.
"I'd love to." He tells back, gosh he makes me happy.
"Okay when do you wanna go?" I ask.
"Around 12."
"Okay what time is it now?"
"11:30"
"I'll go ahead and get ready." I say and run up to our room.
30 minutes later were going out the door and I'm so excited I can hardly stand it.
When we pull up to the driveway I see her car in the drive and I get jumpy.
He parks the car and I don't even wait for him to come around and open my door.
I fly out of the car and up to the door in 2 seconds flat. I ring the bell and before I know it there she is.
My grandma, a short woman with gray hair that used to be thick and black. Small and frail. With the BIGGEST SMILE EVER.
"CRYSTAL!" She yells and wraps her arms around me. She hugs me tightly and when she lets go I say, "okay grandma I'm so so sorry that I haven't been here or called but theirs someone I'd like you to meet." And I step to the side so Ian can step forward.
"Come in come in." She says, "we can do introductions in a minute." She takes us to her sitting room and we all sit.
Me and Ian on a love seat and her in a recliner facing us.
"Is he nice to you?"
"Yes."
"Is he good at heart?"
"Yes."
"Do you love him?"
"Yes." I sag an look up at a blushing Ian.
"Then I have no more questions for you, but for you young man I have quite a few more." She says sternly and I giggle.
"What's your full name?"
"Ian Michel Roberts."
"Do you love her?"
"Yes."
"Do you need her?"
"Yes."
"Would you do anything for her?"
"Most definitely." He says confidently.
We spend the rest of the afternoon at my grandmas house, then when we're on our way home I think,
I finally got my happy ending.
Just me and him till the end.
Me and My Mafia King.
