I want to cry because you are so beautiful
not because you are intelligent

not because you skin is the clearest I have ever seen on a girl my age. Mine is covered with scars and redness.
not because your hair is like long, dark silk and never looks misplace
not because you are the nicest
who shares a smile and a laugh with everyone you interact
not because you devote yourself to helping others
but because people love you
they truly do
when they hear your name, their eyes soften as if they are speaking about an angel
but because when I went to your birthday party, I saw the amount of people who truly cared for
the amount of people who had supported you, the friends who had loved you, and the strangers who adored you
i consider this perfect, because compared to that
i feel like (am) nothing
