(Washington DC, Winter 2014)

You were dancing on the dancefloor at a club with your girlfriends. Alcohol was being served. It was nearly midnight as the music played on the stage. You were drinking but not too much. The music kept your feet busy with the beat. You have seen some Hollywood figures in the club. Also, it was believe that former President Bud Hammond's son TJ was there as well. You haven't seen him. One of your girlfriends came to you on the floor.

"I got us V.I.P passes for the upstairs. We can meet celebrities up there." She said.

"Alright, let's do it." You told her.

She was your best friend Quinn. She probably had to screw a guy to get those passes. As you went to the stairs, you showed your pass as well Quinn's pass. The bouncer gave you the right to go upstairs. Once upstairs, you saw more famous people. Also, you saw TJ talking and laughing with his friends. You notice he was doing lines of cocaine on the table. TJ was known for his drug use. You knew he was gay as well. Your friend walked to the group.

"I'm Quinn and this is y/n." She announced.

TJ glances up and saw you, "It's nice to meet you, ladies." He said.

After awhile, Quinn was drunk and high. She climbs onto TJ's lap. Quinn straddles him. Then they began to make out. You notice there was any secret service bodyguards around the upstairs. You went over to the balcony. TJ pushes Quinn off of him and follows you.

"Nice here." He said.

"It is." You said turning your head towards him.

"You are so sexy, y/n. Do you want some pills?" He offered.

"No thanks," You answered, "I don't agree with drugs."

Quinn held her head with her hands as she watches TJ and you. She was jealous of you now. TJ had noticed you instead of her. She got up and went over to him.

"I love some." Quinn said.

Another hour had passed, Quinn was on Todd's lap. TJ was snorting up two lines of cocaine. Two girls were practically having sex on the couch as the men watched them. You were sitting on the chair. TJ got up from the other couch. He made it two steps before passing out on the floor. You jumped from the chair to TJ so quick. TJ began to convulse on the floor. He was sweating and pale.

"Call 9-1-1 now!" You shouted.

You rolled TJ over onto his side, so he would not choke on his own vomit. A man grabbed a phone and called the number. He went to the corner of the room to hear the operator. TJ was sweating, and he was looking so pale. The bouncer came up and clear the deck for the EMTs. TJ glances at you and smiled. You smiled back. They were coming up the stairs.

"Stay with me." He said.

"I will." You said back.

By the time EMTs showed up, TJ was fading in and out of consciousness. They worked around him and got him on the stretcher. You stayed with him until EMTs got him into the ambulance. During that time, you held his hand until the end. You watch the ambulance drive away to the hospital.

During the week following, TJ was the talk of the town. He is the son of a former President. His parents are Bud Hammond and Elaine Barrish. TJ had a twin brother Douglas and a sister in law Annie. Everytime you see Bud's face on the television, you sigh with discontent. The Hammonds are a political force around Washington D.C.  By the end of the week, TJ was a thing of the past. The reporters didn't mention you or anyone else at the club that night. You were glad for that. You wondered if TJ would remember that night in the club.
